I cant sit still and never seem to settle. I haven't really felt "home" so to speak. Possibly because I do class myself as a free spirit and not bothered with the materialistic world. Possessions mean nothing to me, however new experiences on the other hand do. I can't say my adventures have been "planned choices", just opportunity has just come by and I take it. I don't think I have evolved, it is just who I am. Is it a gene? Perhaps, yes. I read once "career" genes also get passed down through generations.

I couldn't wait to leave! I love my "band", but was always a wanderer. I'm more settled now, but wouldn't rule out moving again. Sexually I have definitely evolved, though it was more revolution, less evolution.

An adventurous sexual spirit but no desire to live anywhere else.

I've no interest in wandering. Hate travelling. Only moderate interest in adventure. But definitely keen on sexual lifestyle development and new experiences. - Posted from rhpmobile

I worked out that I have never lived in the same house for more than 3 yrs since I was 17. I like my surroundings to change. I dont always move far, sometimes its even been a few streets away. Im a gypsy I suppose. And that goes for my lifestyle as well. I have been through so many fazes.Im a curious creature and like to follow different paths and challenges.Careers have been more long term though. Usually around 10 yrs before I need a change.

I went to school in Auckland, then went to school in Wellington, then moved to Auckland on my own for work when I left school, the moved to Wellington for Uni, then moved to Auckland for work, then moved to Wellington for work, then moved to Auckland for work, then moved to Wairarapa for lifestyle change, then moved to Brisbane, then moved to Cairns for work, now live in Hervey Bay for work. (nearly the longest I have stayed somewhere) Strange cause I really hate moving (or maybe that is why). Not sure if that is reflected in my sex life though cause you actually have to have A SEX LIFE to see. And I think the women I have been with have not been that adventurous, or maybe I have been picking the wrong women (suppose that sounds obvious since I am single) . Hmmmm, now looking for a sexy adventurous nymphomaniac (hang on, swear I have seen one on here somewhere)

-another stellar topic Freya- I've lived on three continents and I'm only a young'n. I think I'm a bit of a 'hippie' in that I haven't really 'settled' down to anywhere in particular (and no place feels like home anyway) for me 'the globe' is my village. I've met some fantastic people & indulged in some crazy situations & immersed myself in some great cultures- I wouldn't have it any other way. I've been fortunate. BUT, time to settle down methinks. "Juliet.! Juliet.! Where for art thou Juliet..!?!?" 😂

I'm with inspirit in that material possessions or class mean nothing to me, experiences, living on the edge, taking risks, is crucial and who I am. I've always been a rebel, from the moment I was born I think, a handful for my mother, but I was always a free spirit. When I was young, I used to joke that I was born too late, I would have fitted in as a hippy in a commune in the 60's, and I always resisted the 'groupie' mentality. I roll by myself and it's taken me this many years to understand that and be proud of who I am. I'm honest and proud. I'll always be individual, whether people like it or not, I don't care, I like me, oh and i love men still lol and I would be a groupie for the gangie type thing haha, i'm nothing if i'm not flexible. My sexuality reflects the risk and urgency that define me, only way for me

I have been an opportunist..A lot of my travel has been paid for by my employers at the time..my philosophy, was give me a ticket and I will go anywhere...I ran away from home when I was seventeen,I didn't live in a hippie commune I_touch,but for over twenty years I lived in and round Buddhist communities both here and overseas..I have been single for'most of my life, not necessarily by choice but it suits me. No one else in my family has strayed to far from the village,so if this gene exists then I was the one o got it😝..as for being sexually adventurous,I am that.monogamy has never made sense to me.xThank for all the great responses so far xxFreya

Quoting 'I_touch_myself2' I'm with inspirit in that material possessions or class mean nothing to me, experiences, living on the edge, taking risks, is crucial and who I am. Another poster once jokingly suggested we have a dinner party at my house. Funny indeed, I don't even own a kitchen table. As for risk-taking: opening my credit card statements is always an adrenaline filled adventure!

G`day Freya, love the topic thx.A story I was told by an Egyptian physic a few years ago.The word fool was used to describe a traveller. The traveller was a fool for not tending crops for food, a fool for not constructing shelter to protect from the weather or shelter family, a fool for not planning life. But the traveller would walk into the village and be welcomed, the village would offer food and shelter to the traveller. The traveller in return would tell stories of far flung lands, tales from his journeys, share knowledge and tools between villages. But the traveller is no fool, the life he/she leads may lead to some nights cold and hungry. But the travellers path is a blessed one, the life of a traveller holds experiences that most will only dream of, see things that most could not imagine. And a life most would not like.I agree with the theory presented except for one word "gene" I would replace it with "sole", as I feel the drive and direction comes from the mind not the body. I will add that I am good at Autowriting and that is where some of my direction comes from (the mind).Have a great day on the trail, Andrew the fool.

in effect, stop chastising the cheaters who sneak off to the next village and thank them for our strong and diverse genetics that keep us strong and ready for natures challenges !

Quoting 'I_touch_myself2' Yup that would be me, my nymphomania takes on a whole new meaning 😸👍😎 my daily goal last summer was to not get locked up (keypad kept wanting it to be 'licked' then, see it's a sign 😁) Hoping you have a great year of being licked up (and down), and not locked up And about time you got as kitchen table. How are you supposed to have sex on the kitchen table ??? (You can only burn your arse on the stove so many times)

What an interesting topic. One that also worries me slightly, as i too have moved around a lot, changed jobs, studied a wide variety of courses. I wonder if it is because i am curious or am i just never satisfied. .. and not just with life choices. Am i greedy? It's not that i want more, i just want variation. Will i ever just be happy with my lot, or am i always going to be chasing rainbows? - Posted from rhpmobile
