App/improvement part 2

May 19 2015

The workings. Firstly RHP has a private field in the your profile where you could enter the first 4 characters of their vehicles rego. If other eligible members wish to query whether a vehicle is a fellow RHP member, they input the first 4 characters in a search field on their app. This enables a sms to be sent to the first member detailing the second members profile. If the first member is happy to meet then they have the option to respond within a set time limit. If they dont wish to meet then no action is taken. This way because the second member does not recieve a response the second member cant go fishing on rego plates. We are not RHP staff/moderators/technogeeks.

why not just message them directly?? Way I see it...RHP has no obligation to screen its members for their willingness to show up; or be of a person of integrity.... That's all up to us as individuals to put in place. Besides why would anyone want to give out their partial registration or their drivers licence number?? All sounds good in theory to an honest person.... But let's face it...padlocks only keep honest people out.. - Posted from rhpmobile

It would never work, or be allowed in Australia due to our strict privacy laws. It would also leave members wide open to abuse from stalkers. Would you happily give out your phone number and physical address to every Tom Dick and Harry on this site? - Posted from rhpmobile

Numbers. For each of the currently used first four alpha numeric combinations there will be 1000 cars on the road in your state. The concept of associating any one of 1000 cars to an adult sex site is lawyers wet dream. It may be fun, but will never work. If you like plates then do what I like to do. Make up imaginative acronyms for people you see drive based on the plate, at least you wont get sued following the wrong car to the wrong address, with mind full of kink, and bag full of whips. Though RHP could do a little better with its Live Location bit on the phone. We tried it once, night out in a hotel room and the app was totally confused about where we were. So gave up. But if you want to be known as a RHP member I am sure you can ask the lovely people at RHP HQ if they provide bumper stickers, free mobile advertising for them, and no need for fumbling around with phones trying to see if each random car is a member. Maybe they could even print some "in the know" codes, like RHP logo on the right, ready day or night. RHP logo in the center will take things slow, and RHP logo on the left only if we have meet.

"Firstly RHP has a private field in the your profile where you could enter the first 4 characters of their vehicles rego." and "We are not RHP staff/moderators/technogeeks." Confuses me. If this is a proposition, I respectfully vote no. It is too invasive and carries too many risks on top of the fact RHP doesn't have a big enough customer-base for it to work.

Wow, thanks for all the feedback guys. I posted this as there was a question posted on another thread about recognising swingers whilst on holidays/travelling in which a member suggested bracelets or chains with icons of swings attached. The hidden field is only visible to that member no one else. Just like the current setup where members are limited to a set number of messages a day ,therefore only a small number of rego plate enquiries could be made. I think that with 4 characters that equals 10 000 possibilities. Fun4some- where is this "nearby you" app located? Blindman67- love the tone of your response😈 Slickz-Definately not associated with RHP, damn I cant even get my tablet to insert spaces between paragraphs.

Quoting 'Jason_Leslie' It would never work, or be allowed in Australia due to our strict privacy laws. It would also leave members wide open to abuse from stalkers. Would you happily give out your phone number and physical address to every Tom Dick and Harry on this site? - Posted from rhpmobile I don't really like the idea, but please do elaborate more about these strict privacy laws which prevent members of a private site to opt-in to a system where they disclose their number plate? I don't think the idea is great because I see SO many cars each day, you couldn't enter them all in. Fixing the "nearby" and other location based features on RHP would be more helpful. Perhaps you could link to alternative location based apps that do "checkins" like facebook, foursquare, twitter, etc and have these link to your main/normal non-rhp profiles only for the purposes of gathering location data, never showing in the RHP app what source user location was gathered from so that you can't tell which service generated the location and track it backwards in any definitive way. OP: to get paragraphs use < p > i.e. p with 'greater than' on one side and 'less than' on the other, use "br" inside the symbols to get a line break.

On the phone app it's the first thing that opens up once you log on. It shows you anyone close and anyone online has a green phone in the corner of the screen. No rego numbers required. - Posted from rhpmobile
