  Indonesia is a funny religious beast; Tinder is allowed because it is just men and women looking for casual sex. Anything outside that; Grindr, RHP or anything that is outside ''the norm'' is forbidden. And yet, they also recently passed their strange ''fornication'' laws, but made Bali basically exempt. Money money money…

  One way to get around geo-blocks is through using VPN software. Download OpenVPN on your mobile or computer you will get a month free. Cancel subscription before the month ends else you will be charged around $7/month from memory.

  Hey there, So firstly, as many others have said you can use a VPN to get onto blocked or naughty sites that the Indonesian government deem inappropriate. There's a bunch of free versions online as well, we use them in Singapore all the time. Second thing, swinging is technically illegal in Indonesia hence why there are no clubs etc. There are still libertine couples and singles keeping things on the DL but you'll need to be able to put up a travel notice in advance on RHP and try to connect with other locals / expats living in Bali or other travelers coming from Australasia or USA / Europe etc We moved to Asia 3 years ago and its been interesting learning what is legal where... for example sex toys are illegal in cambodia.
