Haven't been exploring the dunes when I've gone down there. To be honest I got the impression from the activity I saw that the dunes were mostly gay guys. There were a couple of people with shelters at the back of the beach before you get up into the dunes, I think there was some activity there. I haven't seen any couples openly having sex on the beach although from BuzBecky70's comment above it looks like it does go on. I suppose it is possible you could offend someone although I'm sure most beachgoers would enjoy the show. I guess you just have to scope out the surrounding peeps and exercise some common sense.
