Best Hotel Rates / Sites / Apps

Newbies here in Sydneytown going to the delightful and hopefully dirty RHP city drinks on Friday. Locked up a room (refundable) and still looking for better rates. Where do you go for the best rates / upgrades / and all that jazz? I know all the regulars like booking and lastminute and wotif... any sleepers? HotelTonight app has been good to me in the past. Travel is getting pricey, and we'll need some space if we're gonna host - the balls and flaps will need room to roam, and we can't be in a Hotel Ibis shoebox tripping all over the joint. Thanks in advance.

The Meritons are fantastic! Huge rooms, especially the two bed suites, kitchens, full sized fridge and bloody cumfy beds. The North Sydney one in particular has great rates, especially on weekends when the business crowd aren’t in town. Easier and usually cheaper just to book through them and they’ve got decent terms and conditions for cancellations too.

We just booked Grace Hotel (very close to drinks venue) via ScoopOn. Surprisingly, their rates are amazing. Looks like it's not their normal discounted deals as they do for food, activities but a new portal operates their hotel bookings / provides the discounts.

Agreed grace hotel is great. So is sheraton on the park and meriton on kent st

We’ve picked up a junior suite at the Grace very cheap, for couple of weeks time. Some great whiskey bars real close
