Bi-curious is a term for a person, usually someone who is a heterosexual, who is curious or open about engaging in sexual activity with a person whose sex differs from that of their usual sexual partners. The term is sometimes used to describe a broad continuum of sexual orientation between heterosexuality and bisexuality.Such continuums include mostly-heterosexual or mostly-homosexual, but these can be self-identified without identifying as bisexual. Sexual experimentation might look like you realizing you're bisexual, or it might look like you figuring out you love oral sex and dislike anal sex, or it might mean both. It's all pretty individual. To put it another way, sexual experimentation is allowing yourself to expand sexually by trying new, creative, and diverse things,

IMO Bi curious = usually a straight person, interested/curious in having a sexual experience with someone of the same sex. Sometimes it's short term, other times it's long term Experimental = experimenting in sexual acts with either sex, that one has not tried and/or has been curious about it for a long tome. Ms Foxy

Bi-curious I think is self explanatory. Experimental when we first joined RHP meant to us what SuperFoxy said - being open generally to experimenting - not around anything gender related. However as we explored the scene more it seems experimental means not so much being curious about your bisexuality but touching on same sex interactions in a very 'lite' way.

I agree with the other comments. What is being described as experimental is also what people may describe as heteroflexible. You have to work out if it's purely sexual, or bordering on romantic attraction. For example, one (Mr) might be attracted to ideas of interaction around the erect cock, but have no interest in kissing or holding another man. He might be interested in giving oral, but only with a woman's presence (no interest in having a male one-on-one scenario alone), and perhaps little or no interest in receiving oral from the other man, or anal. Terms are somewhat flexible too. If male has been straight his entire life, and has experimented just the once with male on male action, he may not be willing to self describe as bi-curious or bi-sexual, as it seems too far away from his 99.9% straight activities in life. And/or you might just stick with straight, as the right opportunity and the right people to experiment with might almost never come up. There is a funny meme I saw (in this case it was overlaid onto an old fashioned cartoon with two women). One of them is saying: "You know I'm straight dear". And the other replies: "Yes but so is spaghetti until it gets wet". :P That is experimental.
