Cairns

My man and I are preparing to head up to Cairns for some well earned R & R. As we have never travelled up there before, I was hoping maybe, some RHPer's might be able to suggest some things to do and see. (Yes Diving The Great Barrier Reef is already on the list). I was up in Cairns a few weeks ago and had a fantastic time! I highly recommend the Skyrail Rainforest Cableway and the Kuranda Scenic Railway. Amazing views! And of course, the lagoon on the Esplanade. We also drove up to Port Douglas for the day, which was wonderful. I hope the weather is good for you and that you have an amazing time! I can't wait to go back!

Palm Cove is really pretty. There's also a rainforest nearby called Daintree. You can visit the local Aboriginal community and do bush walks. It's beautiful. Hugs Gazpacho - Posted from rhpmobile
