but I have to say I'm not that receptive to travelers anymore, those passing through, for work or on holiday. I look for ongoing, repeat meets is preferable, just find the initial screening etc not worth it for a 'one of', no longer have the time. However if I met someone out somewhere, it wouldn't bother me, I'd grab the opportunity if I was into him 😉

I have English heritage so have had a few relatives or friends of drop in while travelling the country, they take a step back when the cheque comes, helped themselves to my food and drink and didn't lift a finger to help around the house. Not insinuating you would, but that might be the rep you are up against.

But only if they are wearing all white pants and top with a baggy blue hat. Mr Luvsilver

I wouldn't say a turn off but you may find less interest amongst those looking for longer term arrangements - Posted from rhpmobile

I'll answer/comment on some of your messages: Nope, I wasn't in Newcastle. I've just left the Gold Coast, slowly en-route to Sydney. No timescale, but probably arriving in a couple of weeks. With that in mind, I'm in Australia until next year at least, so I'm not really looking to meet, then drive away. As everything, it all depends on who I meet if there's a mutual attraction to stay for longer in one place.... I'm very self sufficient, so not looking abuse any given hospitality, in fact, I'd be looking to reciprocate it (if someone fancied a tandem paragliding flight?!) Ah yes, the game with a shiny red ball 🏏.... I prefer to oval variety myself 🏉 (That'll be a trip to NZ soon for the Lions tour then!). Once again, thanks to all for your comments - I'm sure I'll enjoy my trip over here 😉 x
