Changed perceptions.

October 15 2011

sex

When I came on RHP it was just for my art project. I had a set idea of what I wanted to do and that was capture the masculine. I have been lucky in that several very nice men have contacted me and I have taken some great photographs. In the doing I have learnt a lot about myself. I have also found that men are beautiful creatures all with unique personalities , and whose sexuality unfolds before my camera lens like a peacocks tail, unique and visually enticing. At first they are a bit tentative, but as I help them relax they reveal more of themselves both inside and out. As the clothes peel away so does the outer personality and as I talk as I work, then I get to hear about them, who they are what they want. Men from RHP appear to be overt in their sexuality on this site. In truth they are not. They seem more sensual than sexual, but perhaps its the environment of being in a studio that allows them to display themselves in a more artistic way. The part I like most is that they are respectful of me and do not assume at all that I am going to have sex with them.   I like that much better than being in a bar and a guy buys you a drink and your supposed to drop your knickers.     My pictures are improving with each man I take photographs off, and I am able to get more and more each time. I also find that its been giving me a new perspective on my own dormant sexuality. I am creating a painting but I am also building myself awareness as a woman at the same time. What I want to know is has being on RHP changed you or your perceptions and in what way?

At least you find models for your art projects. I still have to find 14 female models who are happy to pose for 'artistic nudes', for a book cover... so far I've been lucky if I've found two. But in answer to your question, I also joined RHP for my art, and like you, I give my prey fair warning. I have joined primarily to write a trilogy of novels, of which I've finished two, and once the third is finished, I'll release them as an omnibus, via Smashwords. Personally I think RHP has made me a tad bitter, professionally... it hasn't dissapointed. I just think its ironic that I have to pose for most of my front covers, which would probably be misconstrued as arrogant or narcissistic, but I can't get any female models to pose with me so I'm not left with much choice. The funny part of the story is, there was a photo taken of me in a leather jacket and aviators. Then I saw a still shot of Tom Cruise in Top Gun... I honestly wanted to burn the picture. The resemblance is uncanny. I can impersonate almost anyone in photographs from Charlie Sheen to Elvis to Mark Ruffallo to Bono to Slash... but this isn't funny anymore. I like getting in front of the camera, but I really do prefer to be behind it. But hey, at least you're finding models...

When your project is finished, I would love to see the journey you have taken of the masculine form and agree with you that you can find something positive in everybody.   Please keep us posted of your project!

Hi, I'd llove to pose or sit for you, and to have some photos for my profile. I've posed naked on a beach before with a nude female model - the photographer just grabbed me at random on Warnbro nudist beach one day. I've had TV exposure a couple of times before, but hated that!! Photos & True Art are a lot different in my opinion, so if you're keen - so am I. Please give me a yell if you're at all interested, I can elaborate. -Regards, Bob.

First love that you are enjoying your photography and hope it holds your fascination for many years more. My camera never leaves my side. There is something to be said about sites like RHP and the way that the sexuality of any encounter is worked out before hand. There is no hidden agenda. Not everyone clicks and it makes it easy to say sorry no. Also easy to handle a no.I learnt not to be inhibited and fearful of my sexuality. To open up and be sensual. And that there is so much more to sex then a few sweaty moments.Enjoy the experience, learn and expand. To much in normal sociological interaction is veiled and unknown.. Break free and know it for real... :)Life has changed forever for me since RHP....

I can't say whether it's rhp itself or the people I've met through being on rhp that have changed me and my perceptions.A little from column A and a little from column B I believe. Without rhp I wouldn't have met those fantastic people, nor would I have been exposed to this most excellent of forums.Through the people I've come in contact with, whether face to face, via messages or correspondence through the forums, I've felt acceptance, basked in flattering compliments and been allowed to explore myself and my boundaries in comfortable and safe environs. This probably would have taken place without rhp but I believe at a much slower pace..My eyes have been opened to many new things, some basic and simple that I'd just never thought of and others that I'd never thought I'd partake in or experience. I've encountered and done things that I never thought I would've when I first joined rhp, whilst I'm now experiencing something I'd thought was an extreme, if not improbable, Delicious possibility. .The overall change in me has been of new found confidence in myself and a new degree of open mindedness.I now know more of what I am comfortable with and what I'm unwilling to try again. .Overall I only have a positive experience to reflect back on and look forward to what the future may hold for me. .CheersRusty

Last night I got brave and decided to go to the meet and greet. I never did find out who the group was as realised that I had no idea what people would look like. For some reason I was expecting a red balloon, sad but true. A lovely lady not from RHP, came up top me at the bar as I was talking about my art and giving someone a card. I ended up dancing in a pub till midnight. I had been in this town four years and set foot in the pub about three times. So its changed me in that I am out of hibernation, all be it just a little bit as my work keeps me busy. I think people are also noticing the change in me as well, I guess I am feeling more confident. For those that want to pose for me, just message me , I will give you my number and the address of my studio. I have stopped payment on RHP for while as I am off to photograph some other kinds of wild life. It seems we have a lot of talented people here so I hope to get you all down to my studio to compare notes on our creative side. I am new to photography and want to set up a studio with the right equipment so advice would be much appreciated. I have been ask more and more to take erotic photography and I did a great shot of a guy yesterday in orgasm. I wanted to capture it in his face but he wanted the other end so I did what he wanted and I just love the pictures, the light and shade gave what would be a porn shot a new dimension. The Tatt project may take a year,as its realistic style and I have twelve to do. But I do have an exhibition in November at Fairbridge so will post an events notice the opening is 6th November at 2pm its called Sensual Magic of Women. I am grateful for the models and the people that have encouraged me and look forward to getting a network of like minded creative people. I think RHP is very good for breaking down barriers and allowing expression, so for an artist its been good source of inspiration. And Nick maybe you can be my ghost writer and write about the Tatt project its an evolving story.

Last night whilst I was at dinner with some friends one woman was quesioning my ways of finding men and dating etc. she had the perception that sex was only to be enjoyed by people in love. This had me in thought about all the things I have learnt and experienced whilst here in the last 10 months. The help and enlightenment of the forums always there with tantalising and interesting topics my mind has been opened as well to so much. Where I was once opinionated on some topics I find so much understanding. The people I have met and the man that brought out the woman in me, the woman I had hidden for so long and without that encouragement I wonder how far I would have come. Maybe he was a friend afterall. My perceptions have changed so much and I too have taken myself to levels sexually I wouldnt have thought but with so much more ahead I am sure...

But hey, at least you're finding models...   Well I would volunteer but I am seriously doubting that you would be interested in using me as a model. In terms of how my perceptions have changed;I have had my eyes opened to a whole world of sexuality where there is nothing that is abnormal really. I have learned that just because I don't like it doesn't mean somebody else won'tI have also learned that you don't have to get your knickers in a twist when someone asks you for something you don't want to do or give. Nor do you have to give a long winded explanation (that last is a little hard to put into practise) Just say no politely and go your merry way. Love your art Mrs Jones

Chilli... The forums have changed me too... my perceptions and beliefs about how people should behave in relationships & all the different ways people can be perfectly happy with each other and that it doesn't always just take two. Couples who play together and people who have multi partner relationships have fascinated me from when I first joined RHP and still do.I look at love a little differently these days. I have learnt about more perversions than I even knew existed and I realise that I am much kinkier than I always believed. Ladies & Gentleman... I have been one bad girl. xxMeeka
