Chastity belts

I've had a look at alot of the posts on here but suprisingly haven't seen anything about chastity belts. I was totally unaware of these things I thought they were something only used in medievil times until recently I had a girlfriend who didn't like me watching porn while she was away so she got me one. I loved it that she controlled me and would "release me" everytime she felt like having sex. Does anyone else have experience with these? I have seen these being used but not had a lot of experience with them. It is something that I find facinating and would enjoy discussing with those that either use on their submissive (or partner) or those that have them used upon them.
