Some years back, I went to a friend's New Year's Eve Party. The hostess competes in amateur pole dancing competitions and many of her friends at the party were from her pole classes, including a few of the instructors. She had a pole set up at the party and many of them were doing tricks on the pole. I even got up and gave it a try myself. A few weeks later, I'm in a strip club watching one of the dancers on the pole, thinking to myself that she looked really familiar. Took me a couple minutes to realize (because she'd had clothes on the last time I'd seen her), but she was one of the instructors from the party! When she got done with her podium set, I bought her a drink and we chatted - both of us feeling a little sheepish at first - but then having a laugh as neither one of us were in a position to out the other without making our own situations awkward. We went on a few dates after that but, for better or worse, nothing really came of it.

It was almost 2 years ago now. Smirk had been going through a horny phase, so one Saturday I asked the big question, “Fancy going to a swinger’s club?” We’d never done anything like this before.
