Oh bootylicious one😜..I always give compliments to colleagues if they are looking particularly gorgeous but it is usually to female colleagues..And it's never explicitly about their bootyliciousness xxFreya

I work in an office with a lot of younger women who I hold a senior position to them. Would be a good way to get a warning from my boss ( also female bit my age ) Safer to keep it professional in the workplace.

I do give compliments, usually to women and sometimes to a man if they are wearing nice aftershave or a nice colored shirt, but I wouldn't tell someone they had a nice butt or saying anything that could be construed as having sexual overtones. You can go too far and commenting on someone's body parts is stepping on the sexual harassment thin ice.

i work in the health industry. I generally compliment women and men if they have lost weight or new haircuts or dressed to go out, but never cross the line with innapropiate comments! I'm still waiting for such comments to me!! - Posted from rhpmobile

usually give the person a genuine compliment that will make them feel good but never sexual in nature. Recently I had a male colleague at work who would often compliment me and flirt and it was all in good fun. From my perspective we were just work friends who enjoyed a good laugh at the office and occasionally out for a coffee. The compliments gradually got more and more explicit. Then the "accidental" bumping of thighs under the conference table or a brush past the arm. Got to the point of me feeling it was becoming sexual harassment. I took him to task over it and it ended our friendly banter to the point I would avoid him. I guess this was a case of it going too far. Because I work in a very male dominated industry I am very aware of how things can get taken out of context so keep my compliments for the girls back at the office. LG

but in a work environment I'd choose my words carefully... With people I know I say it as I see it. I dont think Im a sexist person so what ever I say I never intend to embarrass anyone.. The reactions are generally favourable so it must come across OK...

In the workplace could be classified as sexual harassment, so no, I would not do it.

I can totally see why people are commenting on it 🙊 but agree unless you have a good work relationship/friendship that seems a bit much! - Posted from rhpmobile

on things such as a new hairdo, a new outfit, sex shoes - stuff that cannot be construed as a comment on a person's physical attributes. Having said that, when I've worked in companies for a long time and have a group of people who I have gotten to know for a long time I might get a little more personal. These days though, I err on the side of caution.

Basically an all male workplace, and I'm not that way inclined :)
