i think one main factor is that one size definately doesnt fit all, and a tight condom is a real deal breaker. also i find that if the lady or partner helps to fit then its a little helpful to maintain the level of erotisism required to keep momentum. apart from that i would think the rest is phsycological ( if thats how you spell it) im sure there will be plenty of comment.

Yep those damn things take a lot of feeling out of it and if just the smallest thought of the impending loss of sensation seeps into our big brain then our little brain suffers. Fixes? Distraction! While he's putting it on you should try doing somersaults around the bedroom to take his mind away from the condom. I for one would love to see your naked body somersaulting around our bedroom!!!!

It can be a mental thing, a lot of guys find that when putting them on it's a distraction from everything else happening. Milo and luvitruf are right, keep our eyes on the prize, a situation where there's a "time out" while it goes on is a bit too much of a distraction! LOL Also, as Milo said, one size definitely doesn't fit all! I've found the best fit for me so I can get it on so quickly now that there isn't any lag for distraction to happen LOL But yes, the times I've had the lady put it on has definitely been the best solution :)

i have this happen a lot mainly coz i have been years with my girl and never used one and when it comes to covering the fella up he dont like that idea and sometimes drops like others have said make it part of the fun, thats how i survived last time i had to use one the lovely girl assisted with her mouth while i sorted the condom far less time and feeling loss got me thru it

Condoms suck!!..hahah they are hard to open, i always unroll em wrong way, so they dont roll? then your fiddling and pushing and pulling and trying to look cool and do it fast ..eeeekkkk Then if they are not right size, it cuts of circulation and bye bye stiffy... Then when you do slide it in - i feel at least 25% less than with my partner. ....and if a girl uses lube..feeling drops another 25%. so girls spare a thought for the guys who normally dont do the condom shuffle and guys try large sizes, saved me from blacking out hahhahha Neo

As for one size does not fit all............I had the crazy pleasure of entertaining a crown by having a NORMAL condom put on my head and blowing it up with my nose.........and I aint no dick head .............so unless yours is larger than my head.....which would render it useless ..........condoms do fit.....but then I dont have a penis......just an amusing party trick

I have seen this problem with other guys and experienced it myself. I reckon its cause the guys are mostly not accustomed to wearing them.Heres how i fixed that problem for myself......its not hard.(no pun intended)start using them to have a wank.before long you wont have any problems with staying hard.and you may just enjoy the different sensation, and you will have the mental confidence to stay hard.Cheers Nev

My view is that while hard its not a problem but what happens is when the condom is too tight, once it goes over the head of the penis it pushes the blood back down again and it goes soft, thats my view so I believe that guys need to cater for the size of there penis. GUYS MAKE SURE ITS NOT TIGHT.

It happens to the best of us at times (any guy who says different is lying). It happens mainly cos putting them on is breaking the mood..plus if the girl is a real hottie...the old mind can be saying .."WOW...I can't believe my luck!" ...then the big head gets jealous of the little head..and takes control of the situation...and it can be all over red rover! What I don't understand guys is...if it is the size of the condom...then why don't many of you guys carry your own? Why is it more and more being left up to the woman to carry them on her? I tend to put the condom on with oral play...am such an expert at putting them on with my mouth (bragging rights) lol. I agree with most...don't just stop and then fumble with opening the packet and then rolling it on his cock...use it in the foreplay...you will get better at it and at times they don't even realise they have it on. xFunlovingx

Help him put it on, and continue too play, there is alot you can still do while putting on a condom...or learn how too put it on using your mouth, Ive had a few that can do that.... which to me is the best way too get it on there haha
