I feel this Cougar thing is just a "fad" at the moment much like the way it was in for women to kiss other women and suddenly women became "bi curious" and then the fad of older men dating much younger women many years ago. Sexual piercings were a fad and so was throwing your car keys in a bowl. What used to be taboo is now becoming acceptable but I dont think we will ever have the song "I kissed a guy"! LOL Pusscat

I have to say Miss Saturn..I work in the media and the Cougar phase has taken over from the Milf..The Milf can be blamed on the American Pie movie..Young Teens dreams !! I am not at all interested in younger guys.....never have been, never will be, this "Cougar" craze has been driving me nuts! Not just here on site either. I was enjoy the sun at a local public pool on the weekend, feeling a bit warm, decided to go for a dip. As I approached the pool, in the water were a couple of boys no more than 8 - 9 years old. They saw me and started giggling and nudging each other saying" Shes a cougar" !!!!! OMG! I did try hard to keep a straight face and shot them an icy stare! Ok, I can see the funny side of it, but FFS I am old enough to be their grandmother..... Is this how women really want to be seen as by pre-pubescent kiddies....I dont think so. Give me a man closer to my age anyday. intrigued & curious.

I have been a hunter for a while and developed a Cougar Hunting Strategy Guide and Kit. It is detailed as no one cougar is the same. Some are even un-aware they are cougars and simply need to be shown the way and presented with all the benefits of seeing a younger man. I could post the steps but then I would have to much competition.As for how many I could handle at once id like to try 2 but i think 3-4 could be fun :-) Who is in? I come with references.. hehe

Hi OneBrightStar I was simply referring to the fact that I have been labelled a "Cougar" because I am starting my "looking for" at 30. If I had started my looking for at 20 years of age i could understand being labelled a Cougar. What I am trying to say that there are a lot of men here my age that are looking for women 30 to 50, nothing wrong with that, but they are not being pigeon holed into a term that can have negative overtones such as Cougar because they would consider meeting someone who is 11 years their junoir. Cougar hunting has been around for as long as I can remember.When i was a younger bloke living in Melbourne we would go to" Grab a Granny"( over 28's) nights at the night clubs. We loved it, i used to have chicks cum and hit on me, ask me for a dance, buy me a drink and you would get laid 9 out of 10 times. They new what they wanted and weren't backwards in cuming forwards. the term cougar ha been around for years, except when our parents... sorry to the younger members of forums who might have responded.... were talking about cougars... it was Mrs Robinson, .... simon and garfunkle became very wealthy because of it and Dustin Hoffman started down the tract to a very successful actor because of it!!. This will be exactly the same.... cougars will be the talk of the town and EVERYONE will know someone who knows someone who either is or is doing a cougar.. and the guess what... it will die away.... the same way the Hugh Heffner craze did. To say cougars are close to paedophilles is silly!!!, most woman over 40 I know who have sons would NEVER consider being with a male close to their son's age, but then i guess "sugar daddys" have been fighting with that sterotype for a VERY long time. Miss_Saturn, I understand your distaste at coming up in the Cougar Search when your profile clearly states lower age limit that excludes Toy Boys....... I must admit, when I first heard the term "cougar" ,I called my much younger boyfriend(of 2.5yrs) and we had a laugh,especially as it implied that "I" was a predator of sorts. We both knew that in our case(Im 21yrs older 47-26), and Im certain we are not alone,it was a difficult yet undeniable attraction(he did the chasing), which I have tried to squash,run and hide from. I really became quite sick of the term.and would give sharp looks and tongue to anyone who dared to voice their opinion, ie:, (calling me a Cougar just at eye contact ect..) as such. But now, at least I have contended to the fact it has become accepted to a degree in society. I just don't understand why some of you older women are complaining. As I younger man I can definitely say that I am attracted to some older women. Cougar is just the new term for it, prior to that it was MILF. Older women, be they twice your age or only 10 years older have an allure about them.
