Only press the send button once... Haven't noticed that many anyway, maybe cos RHP tidies them up... No, I don't think a delete option would work considering others might have already replied to the post/ topic you want to delete which would then create a lot of confusion.I like the idea of being able to see our whole post as it will appear before posting in order to pick up little mistakes and get an idea of whether it conveys the message we're trying to get across. Hey Pixie....you mean Forums that sudenly apear not long after the original.....but with different wording in the headings...lol..Especially the ones that have been getting a good response....I usually don't reply to them if they are to similar to one that I allready know has been posted and i have replied to......... Tam rushes off to Post forum on " multiple forum postings "

Ok to begin this is only the second reply I have posted so I have not experienced the excitement of double posting yet lol hopefully I won't but if I did yeah I'd want the option to delete...maybe it should be allowed to be deleted if noone has replied directly to it yet as yes i think it probably would get annoying to read doubles all the time....but I must say I found it quite funny to see you write this pixie as I jus replied to a forum where u had a double posting....guess thas the reason for this posting eh ;) lol

Wtf!! "Tamworthguy38" Why bother with a reply.. Just to bitch??...GFYS!! I wasn't aware of a similar post.. And "Peachypear" All I did was hit the spell check and it posted twice with no approval.. So If you ask me the admin at RHP has gone slack.. or there's a bug in the system.. Yep "I_M_ME" Your on the ball there.. That's why I posted this topic and I wasn't aware of another similar topic.. But thanks for your input.. So just to clear the air.. Sorry to all for posting a similar topic with slightly different wording. If I could delete this one I would!!! Pixie xxx

I sincerely don't think that's what Tam meant at all, taking into consideration his mention of 'ones that have been getting a good response' lol. The only other thread I can think of on the topic only has 3 responses. I posted pretty much the same thing there because that is what I found was causing my double posts, which as I said above, RHP must be cleaning up cos I haven't seen that many lolol.http://www.redhotpie.com.au/Adult-Forums/Help-Desk-something-wrong-with-the-forums-24966 I suggest if you suspect a bug you might like to report it to RHP so they can fix it for you, I haven't had the problem you've mentioned, only the double clicking early on CheersMrs P

Pixie never apologise for asking a question cos it's questions that keep communication happening in forums and in life. We are all entitled to our opinions and I choose to take any opportunity to satisfy my enquiring mind that wouldn't even stop to think my question may have been asked previously. Btw I didn't see another posting like this because I didn't stop to look lol. If someone doesn't want to answer they don't have to and sometimes its the way you word it that makes all the difference.....it's a legitimate question/posting and as you see was responded to so don't stop asking questions cos there's no such thing as a stoopid question only a stoopid answer. Oh an now seeing that happened to you I needed to reread this as i was scared I'd make a double posting for real LOL

Gee pixie.....Take a chill pill !......i wasn't having a go at you......I know Im a bit of a wanker ?..But don't you think its a bit rude to tell me to go and f myself, when i was just replying to your forum in a nice way ? interpretation is indeed in the eyes of the beholder.....but sometimes a second look maybee required to see what someone is trieng to say ? Also Is what your saying is That the person posting a forum should be able to delete responses ?.....if so ? doesn't that sort of spoil the whole idea of geting peoples opinions ?.....either good or bad ! Cheers Tam

Firstly Peachypear.. if Rhp were to tidy anything up on here I'd hope it would be all the fake profiles.. But crap I think it's a lil too early to ask for a Chrissy pressy yet!!.. And Tamguy.. Maybe you should read your first posting to this topic.. N see what it spells out in your mind.. To me and maybe some others it reads as follows.... Congrats Pixie you have just posted a re worded existing topic that has been getting good replies.... And maybe I'll go post a third reworded but same topic.. And about the whole deleting thing .. I think you may have misunderstood.. What I meant to say was being able to delete a reply only if it's come across as a doubled reply.. Meaning same reply but twice..On the same topic.. Not the actual topic. So Geezz.. TamGuy.. if you can't handle the friendly shit stir back in your direction... Why stir the pot?? Just to have something to bitch about!! And Hmmm Chloe babe... Yep I replied to this on Monday.. So I'm just taking the piss... If it were any other day it'd be an anger issue!!!.. Pixie xxx

PixieOnPillsI don't get it... and I don't care to...On behalf of Mr Peachy... the posts on this thread are from Mrs Peachy NOT Peachypear! Now heading off to play where there's some fun and people are playing by rules that make some sort of sense... have fun!!! XXX

I guess I don't mind double postings. Imagine for a moment that there was a super duper machine that stopped you from posting on a subject that had already been posted... this forum would die. Conversations held over the same subject..... it's not teh subject that makes it interesting.. it's how people respond to it as individuals that make it interesting. Now look at this topic for example.... I didn't have a clue what "GFYS" meant... until I read further. lmfao.. it's all good! Double posts? So what. I rarely browse to page 2 so if I ask a question about circumcision one day, even though I think I know the answers I'll agree with and its been said before, I'll ask anyway because people passionate about a subject can be very interesting! This needs to be Sticky-ed to the hot topics section. Definitely something a newbie needs to read (I say guiltily having pressed the send button spasmodically till I learned). Having a few posts or a section that sticks out for newbies regarding appropriate forum behaviour and steps for ease of use may lesson the difficulties of beginning here. Or if by some chance I've missed it, could someone point out this mystical section? (crosses fingers hoping naivety and tunnel vision hasn't won out again :p )
