My sister keeps a dream journal. It's scary lol. I dream of buildings I've never seen but I recognize them months later being built. I dreamt of getting married as a young girl (as most young girls do lol) the groom always looked the same in every dream. When I was 19 I met this guy that looked identical to the groom I'd dreamt about as a child. We've been together now for 12 years. Married for 5. with predicting what your future will be from your dreams? I dreamt my HSC mark three days before I got my results, I was 0.15 off the mark. dream every 90 minutes. And also over the day we store so many images and thoughts our brain has to sort them out when we sleep.U most likely saw some beautiful lingerie and didnt even recognize it then and there but it caught your eye. So LOl in your sleep your beautiful mind is showing you this sexy images,,,,,I hope there was a very sexy leg or boobs in there too.Ohh what dream are made of.Its so fantastic to wake up with a grin on your face because of it.Dreaming is important for your mind, its just a bummer most of them we forget when we open our eyes. Such a bummer.And then the once u just want to continue but you have to pee, oh noo you want to stay in this dream, but wake up, grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr

I know someone who taught himself to control his dreams. From memory, he could decide what to dream about (I think) and could definitely stop the dream, restart it, change its direction and so on. Impressive :) And not a bad trick if you want naughty dreams to go in particular direction ;) - Posted from rhpmobile

I'll pick up where I left off just to see how it played out initially, then I'll review it and change something - either a change in direction/action or conversation - just to see the difference it makes (if any) to the outcome ... same with recurring dreams. I used to astral travel too and have wound up with more than a few 'de ja vu' moments in real life as a result.

You do this in a state of meditation though dont you KiwiBred. I wish I could have changed the nightmares last night...three seperate dreams in two there were two men trying to hurt me one I know of as it involves family dealings so my consciousnes must have been reacting, the other two made little sense except I must of been experiencing some kind of fear/stresses. Some dreams mean things some play on our conscious thoughts and some are premonitions.........so there are many more dreaming is a fascinating thing though. I knew a woman years ago who had hers analised but I dont believe in if you dream snakes its sex related etc. A subconcious exploring ?

I've never wanted to learn, to be honest. I'm fascinated by other people who can do it but have never been fussed about doing it myself. Astral travel is intriguing :)

@ Cest_la_viebaby I don't. My own experiences were involuntary as in they were random and required no conscious effort on my part. I don't think there is any single method that works for everyone. There are at least 11 tried and tested methods that I'm aware of which all involve being in a relaxed meditative or hypnotic state (both of which elude me) ... I have never been able to consciously get to either of those states. @ lilmiss_fussy That's kinda why I thought everybody could do it. It was never something that I learnt to do or even practiced, it was just something that I've always done.
