..A long-time female friend( of a similar age to me ) and I decided to take our friendship to the next level...to see if it would work. As long as they're upfront about it so that potential partners can make an informed choice, I don't see a problem. There are women who don't go down because they don't like it, men should have the same choice. Seems like there's quite a lot of pressure on guys these days to go along with the widespread perception that oral is every woman's absolute favourite thing, we want guys spending hours down there and we all need it to cum, etc. You see it on here all the time, the amount of comments from guys making all sorts of outlandish - and unrealistic - claims about their oral giving skills, obviously in the hope that some woman on here will throw them a bone. Like anything else in human nature, everyone has a personal preference. Some like, some don't. As long as your upfront I don't see an issue. However sometimes there needs to time and understanding. Well said. I don't place a high priority on receiving oral. I don't need it to cum, and also I've found that there are very few men who are actually good at it. And, like you, the thought of some guy wanting to spend hours doing it makes me want to run for the hills. But that's just me, I like giving much more than receiving. When I look around at the society we are in now, the self-centered focus of so many, and the marketing messages and even political messages we get, with the 'me' not 'us' focus, I cannot help but wonder if we are seeing that influence how people conduct themselves, even into the bedroom. Maybe it is my age, and the age of those I tend to meet and play with, but my personal experiences have been happily devoid of this, but I do hear it from some of the younger people I know. iPhones, iMacs, personal space, the cult of offence with the expectation that society will change to suit one person's beliefs and worldviews. This does not make for a well-functioning society.

Not essential to my overall experience. It's not all about me. It's about the pursuit of pleasure.
