  I was going to say the same thing but it didn't post :( Beyond that I have no idea, just following the KISS principle with a follow up of "when all else fails RTFM."

  That even if you are already following a topic, when you comment on it, you need to tick the "follow this topic" box yet again... or else it defaults back to not-following. Does that make sense?!?

  It used to be a check box but now I see a grey button at top left next to "back to Topic List"Either way the choice is remembered for me ? My guess is the issue is related to your browser privacy settings. If you are using it in private or incognito mode or have cookies disabled then choices may not be saved between sessions ?The functionality is poor by any modern standard. Replies to comments should be attached and indented against said comment to maintain the structure of conversations and posters should be notified by default when someone replies directly to your comment rather than everytime someone comments on the post in general ?

  You guys all on the mobile app or something? Odd that you'd have to click the "follow this topic" button more than once. And Alius (thank the gods you changed your name) doesn't even have one?

  On the mobile app, I can not even SEE an option to follow any thread!But on the website, I only follow a topic if I comment on it. And if I comment more than once, I have to check the "Follow this topic" box OR click the grey button again, or else it no longer shows in my newsfeed.And no, I'm not browsing incognito either. I'll have to check my privacy settings though!
