Yep, sometimes I delete them but there’s well over a hundred friend requests that I haven’t bothered with.

It’s the norm . Even though we have in our profile not to ask for friend request unless we have met . I suppose some think it’s worth a shot . Ax

A good topic and something that I have often wondered about. In the past I’ve noted with interest as brand new female profiles (with absolutely no photos and practicality no other information), amass multiple “friends” of up to 10 or more in as little as a week. Also interesting to note that said friends have been from all over the country, so either the woman owns her own private jet OR the guys sending these friend requests are that fucking desperate that they just HAVE to send them off as soon as her profile pops up without ever meeting her. Also interesting to note that there seem to be guys on here who are clearly “serial frienders”. Could this be some sort of “virtual pissing competition” or simply a stupid throwback from the equally stupid Facebook friend phenomenon? Even more stupid when the female profile is also clearly a fake profile. Guys who do this should really give themselves a good poke in the eye with their own cocks. Obi1

My take on it is this, it’s people who think that having a list of “friends” somehow validates their profile more making it seem more legitimate and thus more appealing to potential dates 🤷♂️ Just my 2 cents worth, I’m just a single fella so I don’t have the problem of random friend requests

Hundreds of requests. A great sorting tool, for people that don't read profiles because mine says I don't accept friend request from people I haven't met.

We get a few and we always end up deleting if we've not met or it's not going to go anywhere. We've been contemplating putting something on our profile suggesting we don't accept requests unless we've met.

Yes, we have the same and never chatted to any of them, so we just ignore unless we know them

I never send a friend request unless I have met the person or couple and I have the expectation that I won’t accept a friend request unless we have met in my profile. However, I am a single male on this site and therefore don’t get bombarded. I now get more males checking out my profile than females and couples because my play partner mentions me (and vice versa) in her profile. The numbers mentioned in this thread are astronomical.

We discussed this the other day and funnily enough the majority of friend requests we get seem to already have hundreds of friends, no validations and they never send us a message. Friend collecting 🙄🙄

🙄 I just read that whole thread with a hand over my mouth and shaking my head in shame 😆 I just got onto this lovely community today and quickly realised it costs a good chuck of $ to be able to send messages. And am trying trying to work out how the app works 🤣 thinking if they accepted it, I'd be able to connect with other members. Question: Everyone can still see guest profiles hey? So I can chill and wait till I take someone's fancy?

I get Friends Request, too, from time to time, but will never accept anymore new friend requests, even if I have chatted to, or met, the senders in person, because I do not need the rest of RHP fellows to know who my friends are on RHP. However, having said the above, I am grateful to be friends with Auntie Annie on here. I miss her sense of humour and wisdom.

I find it interesting that I am in tasmania n I get requests from the mainland. Kinda unlikely to ever meet so I decline them

People don't read profiles we get people trying to add us as friends daily even though weve never spoken the delete buttons worn out I need a new one

Friend requests are rare for me, but I got one yesterday. One view of my profile and a friend request, I asked them if they wanted to chat and got blocked, go figure 🙄
