Friends lists

March 01 2019

After reading the "validations" thread it reminded us of the the topic of friends lists. After first joining we read many comment that extensive friends lists are a turn off as are validations, So forward a couple of years and we have noticed its actually what makes the "social" part of this social network work as in there tends to be more activity on news feed ect if you have a few friends, perhaps even a chance to see someone that fancies you is planning an evening out and looking for likeminded company.. So, lets just say we will be expanding our friends list and that does not mean we have been "the life of the party" but wont rule out a new experience now and then.. What are your thoughts and experience and have you changed direction after a little experience on this or other aspects of your RHP journey, we would love to hear.. - Posted from rhpmobile

You make a valid point with the news feed part of things - so the more people you are connected with the more items you see. If it’s genuinely connecting with the right people (people that do match with what you seek) then go for it. It is all about making the most of opportunities and making the site work for you..

We've often wondered what the benefits of friends are on RHP. So, it's about expanding your feed?

Perhaps more about social networking and our experience and observation not taking too much on board from others or allowing them to shape your journey here on RHP, There are, as you may have noticed many with nothing positive to contrribute so just jump at the chance to make others look or feel bad for eanting to participate. ;)

It would be nice if the site got a bit of a more social upgrade, much of it is still.hidden away behind private messages and the dilapidated chat. Even the forums would be made much better if people could tag other users in replies and get notified about such things and have more engagement among members. Yes I know what you're thinking...'this isn't Facebook' or....'gee that would really make this site a whole lot more enjoyable' Either way that's my two nerdy cents
