The first thing I do upon waking up every morning now is smile, and then think of 2-5 things I'm grateful for. 😄 Best way to start the day IMO! 😉 I am grateful.. - for my cozy little apartment home; - for my new storage cube; - that my little apartment garden is absolutely thriving! - for all my close friends who have been with me through thick and thin; - for the wonderful discounts at the Mind Body Spirit Festival; and - that I have finally found my mojo back and I'm reclaiming the years that have been lost with depression and sickness and living my life with gusto now! 😄😄😄 Vrrrooom vrrrooooom! 😀 OP, this is an awesome topic! And... how lovely to have neighbors like that! 🖒

I'm grateful for my health, my friends, my family, and for the few in my life who still think I'm sane ;) As my current job role comes to an end, I'm thankful for the opportunities I've been given, the wonderful people I've met, and all that I've learned. I am grateful that I have such a privileged life in a country that allows us so many freedoms. I am grateful for things like; - When I think and act "differently" to the mainstream, it won't get me arrested or killed (in most reasonable cases) for "sedition against the state" or blasphemy. - For my mad friends that are the same crazy as me (mostly), and that they are comfortable enough to express their crazy with and around me. - For my tolerant family (parents and son) that indulge my latest foray in academia. - That my lovely neighbours save the bones at xmas for my rescue greyhound.

The term ‘blessed’ gets used a lot by me when I refer to the amazing circle of friends who I now consider my family. Since leaving my 17 year marriage almost 7 years it has been my friends who have laughed with me in the good times and cried with me in the low points that I have had along the way. I don’t have a close relationship with my family and moved away from them over 20 years ago, so am forever grateful for those friends I have in my life, some from childhood and others who I have met along this journey called life. I count my blessings every day and choose to live every day to the fullest. Life is short people ... so Live, Laugh, Love and most of all do what makes YOU happy 💋 - Posted from rhpmobile

That my children have grown up respectable ' responsible human beings.. That my sister came out of hospital with a answer to a condition they couldn't find for 3 weeks... That my business just hum's away without any dramas.. and the new friends it's given me. That I have many lifetime mates from my footballing days.. That my new bufalo grass has finally taken ... that's a biggy...

My lovely dog, who I've had since 8 weeks, now 7 years old, who has been my loved companion and I fear I will be totally inconsolable at his end (but I guess that is how you should love someone/something). My wonderful bunch of friends, to various levels, that I have made on here and other places, showing mutual respect, trust and confidence, and I have been given emotional support when I have needed it. My family, I am lucky to have a great supportive family mainly free of drama and conflict. Also like the OP, I have wonderful neighbours also, keeping an eye on security and privacy if needed while away, helping with immediate needs, and accepting of my chosen four legged housemate when on the loose! Also my lovely bachelor pad which is wonderful if not to everyone's preferred style - I'm not a city person :) My great bunch of workmates that can make work feel much less like work.

I'm grateful to my son for being an absolute star. Despite set backs in his life. I'm grateful to someone I met on here who restored my faith in men. And whilst we no longer have the benefit we are still friends. so happy that he has a lovely partner also from here. Very grateful for the current man in my life, who's not on here, for his patience and making me very happy. I'm very grateful for the forums. They make me laugh, sit back with popcorn and shake my head. keep it up.

For my mother who nurtured and stood by me through thick and thin. Without her support and friendship I have no doubt I would not be alive today or in a very dark and nasty place. Cheers to all mothers doing the hard yards

I am blessed to have a forever loving and supportive family. Without them, it would be impossible for me to do what I’m doing for my mother! Beside my family, friends are as important to me! I am very lucky to have many good friends in my life, whom have been there for me countless times on so many levels! These friends are the ones I often refer to as my other family. I am grateful for the friendships I have gained on RHP. Some I have met in real life, some I am yet to meet which I sincerely hope I do get the opportunity to meet, and that including you, Rubi_Rose! I am also grateful for the respect and support I have earned from some forumites, whom have reached out to me to give their words of support, compliments, and comforts unexpectedly! Thank you ladies and gents for showing me kindness and generosity in giving your words of comfort and support. You are the main reason why I returned in last December and then decided to stay 🙏🏼🌹 Inspirit, I hope you are okay and that your mother’s chemo treatments were successful 🙏🏼 it is not an easy journey to travel along, so I hope you do get lots of support in the real world, and most of all, please look after yourself as well. I was and am Grateful that my son and daughter 💙 were by my side both at the hospital and with all that followed. As I shared I am estranged from my siblings and realised that nothing has changed, our communications prior to the funeral service showed me that unfortunately. Having my son and daughter by my side helped me get through everything for that I am Thankful.💜
