IPL FOR MEN

May 02 2017

I'm looking at IPL on my pubic hair and interested in hearing from men who have had it done and women's preference on manscaping.

Mr here - Yep, I'm getting through a series of ipl sessions. I'm hoping the final result will mean no more waxing. I have 3 or 4 sessions to go and the hair has definitely reduced. Sharp sting but not too painful One thing I have learnt though is ipl doesn't work on those stray grey hairs lol

Done my entire body except head and public regions. Why not down there? Pain and fashion. Hurts pretty high on the scale. Done a bit on my sac when I'm game and will do a bit more at times.

I will add that my ipl sessions are manzillion, front sac and back, manscaping sessions

ive had 9 sessions....they recommend 10....my armpits are completely free of hair...vagina(full brazillian) only has a little left which they said wont go as its light..the draker your hair the better it works..blonde red and grey it doesn't work....it doesn't hurt at all...IMO....everyone has a different pain threshold....on a man I like a very smooth sac and around the penis trimmed

I'm not a man but I had 3 sessions of ipl and have bald spots now on my pubis where it will never grow back so was hugely successful. I actually regret it now as I can never have that hair back. I also found it didn't hurt as such just a quick sting sensation. On men I like body hair and trimmed pubic hair with balls hair free and if he enjoys rimming get that hair off to, having said that it's not a deal breaker for me and ultimately it's his body so he should do what he likes.

I've had several sessions on my back which is awesome and a few sessions on my sack and crack. Negligible sting and the results speak for themselves 😉😉 everything feels much cleaner and fresh all the time!! - Posted from rhpmobile

Thanks for the feedback. Thinking I'll go the sac and crack for starters and keep above trimmed short. I shaved above for the first time the other day and grow-back was terrible. Not something I want to go through too often.

I recently though about this to save the bother of shaving/trimming and the grow back etc. I'd prefer to be hair free in the lower areas, chest I might want back some time so happy to keep trimming there, back also can go permanently, but being of fair and thinner hair it sounds like the shaver will continue to grace my body as well as my face.

I've had it done - would have been more than 10 treatments. Was warned at the beginning that the pubic region is very hormone dependent. Some will be permanent after a few session, others will have it grow back within months. If you believe you'll be in the later basket, an option is to buy the at-home machines which works out healer in the long run (though may need someone to help do the back) My sac hairs are very light so laser never really got them, as noted by some above about the hair needing to be dark for maximum effect. The only time it stung was when I might have knicked myself while shaving in an area which I can't see... I've needed to get "too up" treatments for other areas of my body every 3-4 months, whereas my underarms have been permanent so far. In summary, give it a go. If you don't like it, I would think that there will eventually be some regrowth - might just have to wait 5 years or so. Slightly off topic, was getting a facial recently and girl said she had a regular guy who came in to get IPL on his arms! Apparently was a mechanic and had got sick of having the grease get caught up in his arm hairs.
