Incapacities

September 04 2016

After ignoring a very painful problem with my hand/wrist for three weeks I finally toddled off to the doctors yesterday. After giving me a gentle lecture regarding the tardiness of my visit, she broke the news to me that I will have to totally immobilise the wrist with a custom made splint (eek, that sounds expensive!) for a minimum of three weeks, and anything up to a couple of months depending on how it responds to treatment. Until the splint is made I am heavily strapped to minimise the movement in the wrist. Whilst it is not my dominant hand, I have discovered how much I do rely on the use of two hands, to the point where my house is starting to look at little shambolic as I just can't manage many household tasks one handed. Even putting on my bra is requiring some internal fortitude! The really bad news is that it is the hand which I predominantly use for play....both self and with others. When the splint is on, I will have no wrist movement and....well..... play could become both hilarious and frustrating! Yes I could remove it, but considering the level of pain that courses through it if I move it the wrong way (which is pretty much moving it in any direction!) I don't think it would be a wise thing to do. When I think about all the interesting positions we get into when playing, and how important flexibility and weight bearing on wrists can be, I am getting a wee bit depressed 🙁Lying back and thinking of England is certainly not my style! I thought I would ask the wise folk on the forums for some input. Have you had a injury that has incapacitated you to this extent? How did you manage play, how did your playmates react to you turning up bandaged, on crutches, splints, casts etc? Or did you just write off play altogether and take a short trip down celibacy lane until you are reasonably recovered ? What positions can you suggest for me that will allow the fun to continue? 🤔 Over to you folks!

You may have a special talent waiting for the occasion, perhaps put that other hand up behind your head, wait for it to fall a sleep, drop it down there you know and it could be anyone's what a treat. Then maybe a special talent waiting for the occasion with those lovely feetxx Mado Mado Tara xx

I would get the wife to go into a doggy position and I would stand on one leg and rest the immobilised leg on the bed and balance with a good grip on her hips 😉 Never let an injury get in the way of a good time. - Posted from rhpmobile

Treat yourself hunni and indulge in some light bondage that sees you tied up and restrained and have a bevy of playmates to please you.

Being the silly old bugger that I am I've been wearing a splint on one side and now have to look at one for the other side.I don't deserve any sympathy because it's pretty well self inflicted. The left side is down to one event where I over did it at training and left me needing to tape up my thumb for training sessions, this in turn led me to overuse my right side and now that needs a splint too, despite all this the doctors tell me I'm getting more benefit from training that doing harm...Better to burn out than rust

you should try to take it as easy as possible last thing you want to do is give your self a permanent injury because you got impatient you dont have to lay back and think of england, but just be less of giver and more of the receiver a few years ago i had a mountain biking accident , busted my self really good, my entire chest was purple i was in so much pain was bed ridden for a week the most frustrating part was i didnt break or fracture anything, so no casts or anything to stop desire building up my wife reversed onto me and very slowly we got there eventually for about a month afterwards i could only use one arm to support myself properly , so we just kept to positions that didnt need me to bare any weight it was a rough time but it was better than nothing take it easy and heal up you will be back to both hands taking charge in no time

As your friends, I think we'll get together and organise the purchase of a 'personal massager' (wand lol) . It doesn't matter which hand you use, that toy never fails to hit the spot ;) For when time permits, I'm sure some sexy friends wouldn't mind giving you some pleasure ;) You always do so much for others, maybe it's time you were looked after lol. I choose to have both wrists operated on at the same time. The recovery involved having both wrists in plaster splints for ten days. I could still use my fingers but had no wrist movement at all. An interesting time! All wanking came to a halt and I could even wipe my bu....... but thats too much detail. Lets just say it wouldn't be possible for a single person! And she definitely had all the sexual power. MsJonesy..... I hope you improve rapidly. If the frustration level becomes too extreme, I'd gladly open my mouth and put my hand up to help!

i Had some surgery on my knee a few weeks ago so at present kneeling is a little painful and difficult. It is getting better every day though so maybe returning to kneeling behind Mrs Luv while she is on all fours won't be very far away at all. Mr Luvsilver

It sounds painful and a long road to recovery. I wish you well and take care of yourself. Injuries do get in the way of playing. I injured myself in a muay thai sparring training last year. Got a front kick straight on the right shoulder and felt it straight away. Right arm went limp like a marrionette's arm on string. Tore one fo my front rotator cuffs. Went to docs. After scans, doc opted to not go to surgery. so was on shoulder strap fro months. For first 4 weeks, can't lift my arm anymore than 15% and walking was painful. It is amazing how much arm swinging we do. Can't play, no real exercise and putting on shirts, dresses and bras were a pain. This went on for 2-3 more months. but started getting better after 6 months of physio. I exercised with my shoulder strapped and went back to boxing after 8 months. I am more aware and careful now. I stop or slow down or dont hit as hard if I feel any pain on shoulder. A couple of my fwbs were very patient and we worked out ways to play without exacerbating the situation. It is amazing how one can get creative when one really wants something. lol. So get creative when you heal up better and hope your playmates can get creative. Look forward to catch up again. Take care.

We can permanently restrain you in bed. If you are tied up then should assist your physical recovery.

I have a similar injury. Initially it was caused by falling off a lounge. Least I was on the lounge doing something fun at the time. Eh emm. And it flares up now and then. Strapping it helps a lot, as does keeping the muscles of the forearms relaxed. Heat and massages. And when I say massages, I have to recommend a magic wand :) Might come in handy for other areas you're struggling with ^^

I've had a stuffed shoulder for 5 years it gets in the way of some positions as I cannot lie on that side at all or weight bear on it and hurts pretty much all the time. I've had surgery on it but they can't do much more I guess i've just had to learn to work around it avoid certain positions, bras i have a certain way of putting them on and only some styles work, toys well i'm lucky in that its not hand so i can use the other one.

I used to be quite a good rep basketballer as a young feller. Taking my young bloke to junior basketball two years ago it occurred to me that this would be a great way to meet women.... Four minutes into my triumphant comeback, I tripped over a dopey opponent and tore the Christ out of my hamstring. My arse down to behind the knee was brown and purple for weeks with bruising. Sadly, three weeks later the back went as well. Long, long periods of incapacitation followed by surgery and rehab. On the upside, the back's great now! On the downside, the hamstring that never got the chance for proper rehab is now almost all scar tissue, and calcified, and has entangled a nerve in it in at least three places. I'm waiting to have surgery somewhere south because in Darwin anything more than three stitches is too hard for the people here. Not their fault, just a lack of expertise. Nerve pain's different to normal pain - I wouldn't wish it on anyone. Oh, and as a result of blood tests I found out I have Ross River virus as well. I wondered why I was buggered all the time. Consequently, it makes it difficult to bring your A game to the table..... - Posted from rhpmobile

I copped a awkward tackle ending up flat and on my back with a ankle and wrist injury. Off to the hospital for X-rays where they confirmed both were strained. Took about a week for the wrist swelling to go down and a bit longer for the ankle. So I know the feeling of losing use of a hand and foot. Scratching was the worst , I'm sure everything gets itchy where you can't reach. But the funny part of this was when the doctor who took care of things plastering etc, ordered a wheel chair . That was very thoughtful , but she forgot about my wrist. I told her if I use her wheelchair I'd end up going round in circles all day. lol.. Good luck, where there's a will, there's a way.

I Watched a Kiwi scaffy fall off a landing.. and HEARD his ankle snap to shit...I saw him standing there... the foot folded at 90 degrees to his leg at the ankle break... and he was standing all crooked and baffled...Being his supervisor.. I said..."Fck mate..... Are you ok???'He replied... still standing all crooked..."Not even Bro......"
