Is one state more sexually adventurous than others?

Hi everyone. I was browsing the parties and events section and because I'm using my mobile it actually came up with a number for amount of events in each state. I was surprised to see nsw was fourth behind vic, wa, and qld in the amount of swingers/ sex party events advertised. I say surprised only because I was thinking nsw and vic would be top two being the largest states by population. But do you guys and girls think this is an accurate reflection for australia in general when it comes to being open minded and sexually adventurous? Is sydney and nsw in general a bit more conservative when it comes to sex? I'm only going on what I've seen on this site and another site like this but do you find some state's are more sexually liberated than others? Do you travel interstate for swingers parties/resorts because of this reason? Keen to hear everyone's thoughts on this. - Posted from rhpmobile

The biggest swingers and kink scenes, not sure why this is as melbourians were historically seen as wowsers, maybe we've figured out its the best way to beat the cold, maybe it's to expend the energy from great food and coffee, maybe since most of us own coats we figure we might as well get extra use using them to cover costumes on the way to events. Statitically (another poster posted the source in here) WA was the most sexually active per capita. However, the swing scene was very active over here. We even had out own chat room here on RHP. Interesting tho, as WA is quite conservative. But hey, I heard you can buy porn legally in Canberra and smoke a scoob. - Posted from rhpmobile

...I don't think that would be an accurate reflection of the sexual predilections of New South Welsh people.For starters, you'd need to take test samples over a reasonable period of time to gauge the high and low periods of the states.It could be related to local weather, school holidays, public holidays, etc. It is the most expensive city in Australia to live in...there could be some correlation there. Less free money to spend on transport and recreation. Just looking at this from a logical point of view..

Yes I agree completely. Weather can make a difference re when we come out of hibernation lol but my opinion is every person is soooooo different, some not as sexual as others. I could be standing right next to another woman my age, me recalling some wild sexual encounter and next one running through my mind etc., her recalling her last patchwork group session lol people are vastly different. There are people who go to parties and clubs who bang on about how experienced and sexual they are, yet the minute I mention anything sexual, they get offended? It's not how many events people attend or how much kink apparently happens in your city, because how the hell would you know what's going on around the city. Arrogant to assume your advertised swinger location automatically makes you or your city more sexual? lmao Get around the suburbs, your eyes might pop 😉 This a general comment, not directed at anyone

For some reason , most the women I click with live in WA.. Don't know why , it just does. That's followed by QLD then VIC.. Closer to home not as much.. I think the reality of meeting someone local can be too real for some.. But I'm open to any female that's got a fun sense of humour and don't take herself too serious.. Jay..

Because RHP started over there in the west? On other sites the usage is much closer to the population distribution. Although I also believe the laws in some states make the advertising of private events more difficult? Perhaps fewer site memberships in Victoria for example, because they don't have to be members of any site to find events, they can simply google most of them? But membership or lack thereof here doesn't necessarily indicate anything about such interests in the general population. For example, I was talking to one couple at a rhp meet, who was in a "network" of about 10 other such couples, but only they were members on the site. So there are always more "adventurous" people out there than you think.

The chatrooms of years ago were all individually state based, as well as the 'general' chatroom for all and sundry.
