Great post. Rather than msn i prefer to chat over the phone, or even better meet up for a drink. I don't use msn anymore because its hard to get humour across. Send me a message sometime summer :)

Bloody hell ! Why are people so rude...? It's pretty obvious when someone is busy....they just dont answer....! And then with a nasty IM wonder why they dont get anywhere.....are there any gentlemen left ? Certainly gives you a sense of how important they think themselves ! I wouldn't sweat it summer....those types are not worth the trouble... Dog.

there's a third party addin for MSN that you can use to customise responses... that way you could have it respond to people when you are away saying "I'm not here and won't see this till later"... so that they don't think you are being rude. Sorry - we can't help the fools being rude - but we can make it easier for you to NOT appear to be rude also. One of the first people on this site that sent me their MSN turned out to be a con website after getting money out of guys. Which is why I only talk to people who have been verified on this site now. In a choice, I would rather chat on MSN once you have established a connection on RHP. People who just send their MSN details is not cool, you need to build to that, ask properly.All I have to say is be aware of the dodgy RHP accounts out there. who want to get you straight onto MSN to get money out of you.

Summer, no offence but is it really a big deal if someone clicks to see your cam? Just laugh and say, nope, won't be happening till next Haley's comet. Falling into a bitch fit seems a bit dire. lol We all get idiots on msn - how simple is it to just block, delete and move on? Surely there are far more serious things in life to get worked up about? I had that too summer when I first started on msn...I just do as Joanne does...I say bye bye..and block n delete......I have not had that problem for a long time now..thankfully. Guys who continually get on my msn and cry like a girl saying..I am so horny....Well shit lil boys...We all are! why you think we are on RHP.....derrrrrrrrrrrrrrr......pmsl. I am thankful that the people I have on my msn are friends..We can openly talk about any topic..and they are sweeties.. block n delete summer....Dont even tell them why..If they can't understand why ..Then they have not grown up.. hugs n kisses sweetpetite41 xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

I have email accounts that I have set up on Gmail I call them my play accounts. Each one bumps into/transfers messages to my main account so I don't have to have lots of accounts open. The play accounts have fake names and not link visible to the people I chat with. So anyone new has to gain my trust before I give them my real account. This means if I ever get a nutter I can just not have the email bump messages into my normal email. Only one suggestion but it work for me.ciaoHermes

Every bloody time you would open it, someone would be after you! Then i changed my status so when it starts it started on appear invisible.Now it is removed from my start up.I much prefer to do it retro and only do email messages now, then i can just reply etc when it suits,and if that doen't suit then tough titties.

if you let them... Gentlemancaller - they can only take money from you if you go to their website and submit your credit card details. Yes there are fake profiles everywhere - not just here, but you need to give them your CC first. MSN itself is not insecure, it's how it's used (not meaning to sound like I'm attacking you - I'm not). Nev - that's sooo old fashioned mate ;-) We'll have to bring you up to the 2010's now... maybe @ the dinner party ;-) For RHP - I use a different email address and MSN account to chat - then once I know I'm comfortable with people I move them over to my primary one. I've got a utility that allows me to be logged in to two MSN accounts @ the same time - works a treat. Wayne

Hundred percent agree with the rest, summer. Block & delete them, reserve the right for the gentlemen of the site to get in contact with you. Rude people get it in the end anyway. Still i do prefer to chat on msn first to see if chemistry is there, then later by whatever means. Love to chat anytime too, Summer

Yeah thats me...lol.....and you should see my mobile phone, (which i would also happily throw in the nearest lake...if i thought i could get away it) does Nev have one of these fancy phones....nope...well it does a few things, but pretty basic, it makes phone calls.....does anybody do that anymore or is it just me, It does texting but i don't...lol...well rarely and when i do you can bet they are short!, It takes piccies...handy for work! but it works all over the place..mostly...damn telstra! We're as bad as Nev with the msn gig... much prefer swapping emails at our own pace, it's worked the best for us in our opinion. People would know that when they contacted us and usually preferred it that way themselves. Cheers all... Mrs P'

Thank god other women think the same as me...thus why i spend 99% of my online time on msn invisible....I agree with everything summer said...My other pet hate is when in a chat room..a guy begs to chat to u on msn...so...u think mmm...hes nice...ill add him...then..during yhr first chat....on msn.....u click up yr chat screen to find him still chatting to other women and trying same line on them...I just think thats rude....I dont cam on msn....I cam in chat....So guys r always in for a rude shock when they ask me to cam on msn...lol... Anyway....great to see a post on this type of thing...It infuriates the HELL outa me... oxoxo Plat

Jose, The program is called messenger plus live - here's the link http://www.msgpluslive.net/. The only thing to watch is the "sponsor program" option - deselect it as in the past some bad stuff can creep in from time to time if you use it... This program is pretty cool and has lots of options, but the one you want is the auto reply. Wayne

try skype and ya dont have too type when on a call just talk much easier and poeple tend not to say nasty shit cos they are weak and to gutless to say shit guess what im saying is its easy to type and send shit than it is to actualy speak
