Movember meet ups

November 16 2014

There's been a few threads regarding facial hair but I was wondering how the ladies that don't like moustaches do during Movember? Do you only met guys that aren't partaking, do you relax your preferences or do you support the Bros with Moes?

Yes, with the next Brisbane meetup at the end of November, it will be interesting to see if any of the attendees are Moe'd up, or cleaned up?

I'm hosting a 'girls night in' at our place and all monies raised will be going to the movember campaign at our work. Men's health has always been close to my heart, but this year it's taken on a very special place 😀 Now, if you want to play with me, I'll overlook the hairiness all for a good cause 😘 Mary xx

I did it the last two years...itchy bloody things. This year I did OctSober instead, anything to promote a cause.

Bless the men. A few men at work are struggling to grow their mo. Lol. Patches of facial hair growing wild on their faces makes their efforts more admirable. It makes me smile. But for a couple of men, the hirsute look really ups the ante in the sexy state, something I would have not thought of them and gives me naughty thoughts. Unusual for me as I prefer my men cleanshaven. I know some men have uneven growths and I would dare not comment on the 'dirty Mexican' look they sport. A friend of mine sported one and I was not sure whether I should comment or not. but he still looked good so I didn't comment. But good on them for the cause. A great effort we should all support, funny face or not.

Doing the Movember thing, and currently sporting a luxuriant beast of a thing - I'd resigned myself to another month of drought. But thanks girls - hope springs eternal...... :) - Posted from rhpmobile

Just looks unwashed at the moment and another two weeks won't help much. I look like a bad 70s porn star. I was just hoping to ladies recognise our effort and give us some reward.

I'm really not a fan of the 'stand alone' moustache as there are very few men who can carry it off successfully (like Tom Selleck in his Magnum PI days, or a particularly cute young man that I work with who would be horrified if he knew how much I perv at him lol). Moustaches that come with beards/goatees/stubble are yummy though:) But when it comes to Movember, I'll always overlook the mo regardless of whether the wearer is rocking the look or not because its such a worthwhile cause. And next year I intend to follow JayJay's example and grow my own :) Much love, Elle xx

Some do a mo and facial hair better than others but hey it's a great cause so can't knock it.

I might even don the shaving cream and razor and help remove it while topless on November 30th.

I have sported a goatee since my mid 20's so can not really show my support. Letting my pubic hair grow, does that count?
