Depends on your definition of “mum bod”, doesn’t it? If you’re using the term Mum and dad bods to describe being overweight then both are a choice (excluding those who have actual real medical reasons of course) and I think men with dad bods probably find it just as hard if not harder to catch someone’s eye.

Life is full of contradictions. Mrs S loves a dad bod more than a muscle bound one but loves a pre-mum bod, mainly this is as she wishes she had one and like most mums battles with her image of herself. For me, pre being a dad I must say I wasn’t overly attracted to the mum bod but now I’m a dad (with requisite bod) I really connect with what it means to be a mum and find myself quite attracted to the signs left from motherhood. We are a fickle bunch, just the other day I called Mrs S into the bathroom and told her to look at our reflection in the glass 3-4m away. She agreed what she saw was rather nice for both of us. I then pondered how close does one have to look to be happy with ones body. As we hone in we see more and more imperfections, where does it stop? I chuckle and often sigh as when chatting to a news potential meet when swapping photos I send average day to day shots, not just the ones where we have caught our best bits, it’s amazing that so many people drop off the interest list after just the first average shot. I use this as quite an effective filter but it’s still a little sad!

Hmmm....if the term "mum and dad bods" offends, Ill call them Handle Bods, something to grab onto and get a hold of. I personally prefer more flesh on the bones, but we are all different. No need to shame people for not being perfect. Im sure everyone has their own preference when it comes to body shape :)

I think women with battle scars cellulite, caesarian marks, some wobble ,some belle,thighs are all amazingly sexy. Looking in the mirror own that shit that's sexy as fuck it's real its life's journey it's a real woman. Would deal with a real woman every day of the week humour and been who you are a 2 massive positives. I often think if your fake on the outside what else is fake. You find vanity and ego is a wasted paradigm because it is all about them. Just know in general woman of all shapes and sizes are beautiful we all get old. I love experience because holding a conversation of substance is part of the mental and sexual stimulation,anyone can fuck but if your mind juices are not twerked you are fucked.

very much an issue of perception. you might think dad bods are hot, and know other women who feel the same, therefore they are hot. me, i've been self conscious of my dad bod, despite being told by partners it's hot, and so many profiles i see want "fit" guys... to me fit is not a dad bod. that's my perception. reality is I know there are women who find my body attractive, so there's nothing to worry about. whether it's your own self confidence or someone has made you feel like mum bods aren't hot, there seems to be a lot of people who think otherwise. could be reality is a little different to your perception. given a choice to go back to fit girls i've dated or the mum bods, the mums win it every time.
