My date last night.

January 21 2017

It was one of those app date things... Back to her place, and with no lube, we took a break with wine in hand. I felt like MacGyver after finding in her cupboard, then google'ing the pleasures and safety of organic coconut oil. Quick warming session in a pan over low heat, then the party started. Oral. Anal. Normal. What a treat... the taste, smell, and sensation? No idea why I paid $30 for some imported bullshit from a sex shop in the city. Never again. Organic coconut oil - best lube ever. Cheaper and it was even used on the avocado and toast we had in the morning. Ever try it? Any other MacGyver tips you can pass on?

Its cooking oil, massage oil, facial moisturiser, lube, hair pack ( the best! ) make up remover and I put a teaspoon in my tea or coffee in the morning. Its also a great soother after waxing. I dont like spending a lot of money on myself so its perfect for me. As long as you like the smell of coconut then you have a great all rounder.

It breaks condoms, like a lot. So possibly not good for every situation.

Organic coconut oil is very popular to use as a lube. I threw out all my expensive lubes after it was recommended to me a few yrs sgo.Its all I use now. Dont know sbout heating it on the stove though, could have put it in a microwave, but its not necessary. It will melt in your hand within seconds. Grapeseed oil is another popular organic lubricant

I use grapeseed oil but have been wanting to try some others. Probably not coconut oil. I have a weak stomach and don't like smell. Agree with Willow re condoms breaking? @ the view, how long is the condom in contact with the oil for that to happen. I generally only use it for anal, still waiting for my full body erotic massages 😛😜 and like anal as the grand finale lol so wouldn't have time to break down or break a condom?? Anyway depends on your activity, but can you elaborate on that? Also agree with Andremmo, oil does stain sheets. I usually wash in cold water, can do a cycle in 18 minutes, but the lowest time setting for a hot wash is 1 hour 40 minutes 👎 so time consuming, especially with other mess I make haha messy individual I am 😝

Guess its handy heating it up on the stove doing your stir fry and suddenly get the urge for some anal. Might need to simmer it down

a very small chance of it affecting condoms, and that's only latex ones. So just use non-latex which IMO are much better anyway. I'm definitely a coconut oil convert, have been using it for awhile now as a lube and love it.

Also use it for everything from cooking to lube. I've never had an issue with condoms breaking, but I only use latex free.

It also good for treating sunburnt skin, damaged skin, or if you just get your new tattoo it good for using on the tattoo for better healing. I always put coconut oil( unrefined) on my tattoo 1-2 hours before i go out to the beach, it makes it very vibe and shiny. I guess it has a lot more other useful abilities. Definitely not harmful 😷😛 - Posted from rhpmobile

I agree with the consistency and versatility, but I loathe the smell and taste. I'll occasionally have it up my ass for a bit of anal play, but don't want it anywhere else. I don't use latex condoms either, so haven't encountered any problems.

I loves you! were you imagining it as a "so, I just happened to have this..." scenario? (no? just me then?) What is the smell of the oil that you're using that you don't like? I have a jar of "spiral foods organic coconut oil" - it says "ideal for baking and sateing" (why don't they list 'anal' on the jar? must be an off-label use, but missed opportunity :p ) The stuff I got doesn't really have a smell or a taste (I decided to be a hippy and give oil pulling a go). I've seen a few things where people have whipped the oil, or made it into little balls so they could dig it out easily while it was still a solid and just melt on contact.

I've used all manner of vegetable oils, almond oil which is lovely lightly warmed for a massage oil and eventually lube, and Lucas's Paw Paw cream, also a great product every house should have.

You're aware of my feelings about pina coladas! I also won't drink coconut water, nor eat a bounty. bleugh. So don't come at me with your hippy coconut'ing unless you want me to gag or bend over. *ponders if it is possible to shelf a cocktail*

@ calling S a hippy... Without the slightest bit of irony, even though I just consumed a rather lurid green soy matcha tea latte.

Quoting 'Summer_in_Sydney' Would you like a little umbrella? seems more like a situation where you'd have a fruit on the rim Do they give you a long straw, or a bag with a length of tube? Quoting 'PepperRose' You're aware of my feelings about pina coladas! I also won't drink coconut water, nor eat a bounty. bleugh. So don't come at me with your hippy coconut'ing unless you want me to gag or bend over. well if THAT isn't just a big example of mixed messaging I don't know what is ;-)

Very interesting. I've never not had the condom break from it. No idea what type they are, I presume latex. We don't use them as a couple fortunately, so it's not an issue.
