I should state that it isnt all the state rooms... Is mainly one inparticular.. :)And i agree with making one huge chat room where everyone is equal... :)

well the social rooms ARE for socialising... if you dont like it, dont go in there, very simple! some people actaully ENJOY a conversation that isn't just about sex, hence social chat, time n place to talk and get to know people, the other stuff is for the naughty room.....This also goes for people who have already met 'the one' they might still like to catch up now n then with other chatters, and you may say well go visit them, we might not live close enough, or not have transport, or hay here's an idea, being able to chat around the household chores is the only time some people have to have adult conversation!!My 2cents worth

So it brings me to , does the Perth chat room need to have lots of new blood and members and tolerance for people trying to hook up as opposed to mothers groups meeting ???Yes I do think the chat rooms need some sort of change... we used to go in there but didn't like the way the cliques tended to ignore new people and I have no reason to believe things have changed in there since then. Other than that, the time I spent in there included watching some of the most banal conversations I have ever seen. Please liven it up!If worst comes to worst we could gather in one of the other state rooms lolol.Hugs Mrs P'

i've never done it in a chat room! i'm going down....down there where ever it is and spin my shit..YEAH!! Who's coming? lets all go and blow some life in there......has anyone left yet? i dont want to be the first one there, that sucks, stuck in there alone with those chatty people....fuck it i'm going ....which way? do i need rubbers? or anything.

I have tried on various occasions to chat in the chat rooms.. But it seems that if no one knows you, then they just dont wanna know.. Not bitter, just the way it is.. Its been like that for the last two years that I had been going in anyways.. so I have given up.. Maybe other people feel the same???

I went into the NSW chatroom... apparently it's where "couples" go to .. errrr... make out in private... hehe... sometimes I .. take a peek through the keyhole to see who's inside.... and there's always a frantic grab for the bedsheets, metaphorically speaking. lolz... but the conversation trail is still evident. :p Hugs Stalky

I only go into adultroom to say hi to those I know sometimes..and the odd laugh watching the screen.. But this is rare now. I get bored quickly and hurts my eyes ! LOL ZZZZZZZZZZ sweetpetite41 xxxxxxxxx

I don't mind hopping into the WA room every so often. I did so recently since this post came up. If you have the time, energy and inclination to get to know people then it can be fun. If you're a random or non-regular, it's not so fun right away. If you're a random with no chat ettiquette or someone on the outer with the regulars then I am sure it's not a pleasant place to be. There are some strong personalities in there but I'm sure newbies would be welcomed. I would like to think so.Ultimately I am not a huge fan of chat rooms. I remember using Yahoo chat back in the late 90s and could not believe how the same people appeared night after night (and day after day). It unfortunately started attracting some very nasty people (who, as I found later, had VERY little to do in the real world) and my best friend was deeply affected psychologically by what we now call cyber bullying. Since then I'm a little mistrustful of 'career' chatters but I'd like to think we're more or less all adults on RHP (right?). I'll pop in again some time. Just wish I had the same amount of spare time as the late 90s LOL

I ws a regular in chatrooms (the wa room) but recently have slowed down the activity due to life commitments.. but I have always made new people welcome.. as playfulminx said "If you're a random with no chat ettiquette or someone on the outer with the regulars then I am sure it's not a pleasant place to be"But if people have decent manners and actually try and talk, they ARE welcomed by all...alot of new ones leave either because they are rude and are told so, see the nastiness of the few ... or have just sat there and not spoke and wonder why no one speaks.....90% of the people (regulars) that go in the wa room are fine, there are always going to be differences of opinion, but hey.. you dont like someone... dont talk to them.. simple really... and as for "cliques" well no matter where you go in life, there will always be those, its human nature.. and it's more to do with who people have actually got to know (either face to face or chatted for a long time) some people in there have known each other for years, I have known alot of them for close to 2 years.....Lil

I agree with LIL_ME. The WA Chat Room is a great place to chat/webcam. There are always going to be people who are annoying for whatever reason (boring, agressive, rude, stupid etc) but that's why there is a block button. It is what you make it. Not everyone likes the same flavours, that's why there's so many flavours of icecream! -Swanny
