I quite enjoyed Whitehawk's point of view. As challenging as his point of view on particular topics was, I didn't feel the urge to insult him continuously. The very recent thread where he cut loose a tirade of passionate opinion .... people around here got nasty. I don't think I would hang around in such an aggressive environment for entertainment. This is, after all an entertainment industry. It's ok to disagree but lots of personalized crap was flung his way publicly and no doubt even more in private. I suspect he didn't leave but was more likely driven out. That's a pity because he was very good at trolling an interesting debate. He's no idiot. Hugs to Milky, Stalky

I've heard that a few ppl jumped ship due to the carry on in both forum and the chat rooms. Voting with ones feet is their democratic right.... However, where whitey and others of his ilk are concerned, yes, he was a master manipulater and knew only too well the type of responses his contributions would attract. If one is going to throw crap..and copious quantities thereof...then as an adult, one should expect to get it back....tenfold! Amateur dramatics aside, its all too easy...just don't read forum...or access the chat room...or...as others have done and will no doubt continue to do....delete their profile..and return to the real world (OR..reinvent themselves and return for round 2...lol) After all.....its only the opinion of those we love that really counts Love ya's all

Whitey driven out? I don't think so.... I think he just got tired of people not listening to him (or more the point, not agreeing with him) - the funny thing was, the people on the forums did listen, otherwise they would not have responded. However, I'm not sure that he heard what was being said....and why it was said... There were times when he posted good topics and valid points of debate, and people jumped in and supported it. And there were times when he pointed the finger harshly mostly in assumption....however, I never recall him being humble enough to realise that his words and opinions did sometimes offend. Not a post mortem - just some observations and only in my opinion :-) It's actually hard to post this - because I believe everyone has a right to reply, and he is not here to do this. I really do hope he is re-inventing himself..... Jx

I've learnt to embrace it.....and eagerly anticipate new faces, ideas and lively discussion in the RHP ooze pond. hellooo people, feeling like a bit of a heel here!.... yep we are alive and kicking, ok i know some of you are probably dissapointed..lol!Just dropped in yesterday for the 1st time in a while and saw this thread didn't actually think anybody would have missed us.But i know i certainly missed some of you guys. I wanted to say we were going, and who knows for how long! but with the baggingthe delightfull Mrs P" got by certain people, i just didn't want to go there...thought we could just slip away!I guess it is the people that make this hangout what it is...and the special people that you feel a connection with and that would be the only reason i am back.I just want to talk about a few of the people here but this list isn't exclusive by any means....so please don't be offended!principally Mz J , one very special lady and so much smarter than i, i love where she has been in life, a woman of compassion and wit!....she challenges me!Jaqui..is that, oh so bright or one so bright i can never remember...doh !! either way she is equally impressive... again another very special lady, gets everything in perspective and gets to the core of everything!Sonsie....A real sweetheart, I love the way we bounce off each other... music is our thing!....I love the way we connect!give us a bottle of Vodka and a stack of vinyl and next thing you know the sun would be coming up!Stalky.... I am a Neighbours watcher and I am intrigued at how everyone there heads to Queensland ! I have always thought why wouldn't you move from a dreary suburb in Melbourne where everyone knows your business, watches what you do and say. There are cool kids and those that don't fit in , the odd stalker , or murderer or kiddnapper. Always someone to misinterpret what you say and it's meaning. Characters that have been around far far to long and those that die off only to reappear in a slightly different form (Harold you know who you are!). Oh and those that take episode on episode to die!!!!! It is alot like being on the RHP forums really ! Hence my new found fascination with the forums! I love it here , whenever there are no re-runs of summer bay or Ramsay street on. I find myself strolling along this street. So do all old posters head to Queensland ? Please please someone attack me for this I want to be part of the drama!

Just like TV, it is addictive, so unless participants replace their forum addiction with another activity, it's difficult to walk away from once it has its hooks in you.... You're no different. In your case you replace your Big Brother House and Ramsay Street addiction with your RHP Forum addiction... and you switch between them as if you're using your TV remote l..... and even though your comments are as if you are merely an observer making a passing comment, you're addiction to the Forum is no different to any one of us. As for being killed off and reborn again, well, as participants we all leave an evidence trail... sometimes it becomes prudent not to have one... and by removing your profile and opening a new one..... it's like magic... in the words of Harry Potter.. it is mischief managed. It's no great secret Bob, and with children who are over 18, a person has to be a little more careful about whoes business is whose. I've never felt that forum posts are precious... because the sentiment and character of various posters lingers. I don't have to go back and read all of Nev's old posts to appreciate what kind of guy he is, because I can simply remember what kind of guy he is without re-reading his posts. A nice change from the reality of Summer Bay I bet ;P Have to say...I'm rather intrigued by your amibiextrous writing style, but I haven't read anything of yours that lets me into your personality yet. But it's early days...and you are new to the forums. I am enjoying being on the forums and quiet nicely i have ad too lovely fine young things invite me over for a meal and a hug so that is already a bonus. i am not sure how to show my personality on here i am generally a lot less confident in life than i am here, that i am enjoying. a boast in confidence very spec! so i will just keep ranting , if i upset one of the cool kids here and there well thats alright generally they have massive egos that someone will come along and shine for them anyway. cool kids always have friends to follow along behind making everything right again. i am sure no one would want to silence dissent, do they? i often wonder if thats the reason some leave is it cause they just didnt fit in , or they stopped being cool, or perhaps someones ego got dull, or perhaps they just got a sore throat from baaaing all the time and moved on. oh now watch all the little blood pressurre rise. i do promise to "take it hard" as well as "make it hard". oh libby you make my heart sing as well. lovely leggy lady.
