I picked up a close friend that had had bone graft surgery and took her back to my place so that she could relax and not use her arm. I changed her dressings, cooked, wrapped her arm in glad wrap, if requested for a shower, and chilled out watching movies and yapping away taking the piss out of just about everything... So far...so good ;) - Posted from rhpmobile

For interacting in the fora..If you are a racist or misogynist it's none of my business...if you comment negatively about one of my posts,it's none of my business..my opinion is just that, feel free to comment but I won't respond ...feeding negativity just creates more negativity and contributes nothing positive IMO xxFreya

Mrs LAL here. I am finishing my post grad studies at the end of this month.... And thereby freeing up a great chunk of time for myself. So... Four goals I have this year are: 1.Returning to piano lessons which I gave up some years ago to concentrate on family responsibilities 2. Planning a weekend away for Mr LAL where I kidnap him and make a couple of his fantasies become reality 3. Volunteer at a local radio station that caters for the visually impaired... Reading novels over the airwaves for people with a love for great stories who aren't able to access them anymore 4. Get that lotto win which I'm sure has my name on it.... - Posted from rhpmobile

Wise words as always. If everyone ignores the negativity and embraces the positive, it will be a much happier place.

I'm not making promises but I do wish to make more effort. In study I have to finish my diploma this year, tick some more sexual bucket list items, enjoy life as it goes along and not worry about the what if's or why not's. Another overseas trip this year and one back east to see family and RHP friends. Life is pretty good so lets hope 2016 continues in the same way 2015 did.

Make a difference. 2015 was a traumatic year but reflecting yesterday, one thing (there are a few others) that has made for a spring in my step for the start of 2016 is the satisfaction of finding the success of my body hair removal. Since going of hormones nearly 40 years ago, the baine of body hair has constantly been niggling. Some laser but cost was prohibitive, shaving, waxing and eplilating machines. Tried them all. So found ways to cover and hide. Now late in 2015 bought a do it yourself IPL appliance. 5 weeks later, i am hairless except for face, head and pubic. Only a few could understand the meaning of this result to me. Tears of happiness with the realisation i am winning this small battle for the insignificant investment of just $900. Less than a years cost of waxing. Wow✔

“Meraki" ― to do something, either making a cup of coffee, ironing, gardening, any task at all, with all your heart, with love, with your very soul. Doing things with a passion. If I do more of this, I think 2016 year will be great and bring me more happiness than I already have. Ms Foxy

I am ALL country... so taking in the Rodeo on NYE was excellent, as was, catching up with some "Long ago last met" friends from that circuit..Horses, People and the risks and lifestyles stir my juices.. encourage my writing, and stretch my own involvements..Good luck too you all this year in your PERSONAL endeavours.. AND in fighting your PERSONAL battles and demons..We all have them.. some are just closer to the surface...

For me at this stage of my life is to see my only remaining parent to live another year, and to have one more abled Christmas/New Year, given her severe health conditions! So, I hope to improve on cooking special food for my parent, in order to make my wish happens! Beside that, I hope I am able to travel to one of my favourite destinations before 2016 ends, as well as sponsoring one or two more children from a third world country. - Posted from rhpmobile

Last year did not go as planned and I spent a large proportion of my time and energy on other people. This year I hope to get a better balance, so I can devote more time to my passion that has been on the back burner for far too long(though not a bad thing really, he needed time to grow a brain!) I've also been wanting to do the "shave for a cure" for years, so I'll be looking into that. Perhaps Perthsocialites can help me raise money?

Quoting 'unicorn99' I've also been wanting to do the "shave for a cure" for years, so I'll be looking into that. Perhaps Perthsocialites can help me raise money? I got involved in that many years ago, as did many of my family, unfortunately we ended up losing someone that prompted the involvement. I wasn't prepared to shave then (I'm running out of hair to lose now), so I dyed my hair an aqua blue! But for this year I'd like to make a more tangible contribution to this scene/community. Stay tuned.
