PROFILE PICS

December 31 2017

I just had my profile pic taken down because someone didn't believe it was me well it was me just an old pic when i had more of a six pack the rest of my pics are very recent it was just the profile pic was older so i was wondering what people's thoughts were about making everyone put current pics up because i have noticed some people i have met up with look a little like their pics but about 10 years older i admit i did put an older pic but i just fallowed suit a lot of others do it. How old are every ones pic ? Has anyone else met up with someone who looks nothing like their pic ?

Did it annoy you that the people you met were not as they portrayed in their old photos? 🤔 - Posted from rhpmobile

I suspect there's a bit more to this than you're letting on OP. So you've met up with someone via here, they've discovered that you're rather not like your profile photo, then they've reported you to admin who have taken down your profile photo? Is that all that went on? Admin can't make you prove that you still have that sixpack or anything so they can't (and I don't think would) take someone's profile pic down just because someone else says you no longer have a sixpack. I'm a little bit like Meander here - are you sure you didn't just accidentally pop a photo of someone else up there?

My main picture is old...But, I figure... "Fuck you all... I AM OLD too" I do look a "Little" like it though from behind... with a few love handles added so, when you try to grab me, yor hands do not slip off from all the oil I put on my body...

Have all been taken within the last 12 months, maybe one or two that are getting close to 18 months? I think that using old photos is no different than shaving years off your age, or saying you are 6’3” when you’re actually 5’5”... Here’s the thing - if your goal is to actually meet someone, they are going to catch you out, it’s pretty simple... For me, if someone is misleading about their age, looks, or anything really, it takes away my ability to make an informed decision about that person, which is not ok. On the flip side, I can’t understand why people set themselves up for failure? Why would I present myself as something/someone other than me? I want to meet people who want to be with me, the real me. Rejection is hard enough online, can’t imagine turning up to a meet and having someone shocked at my appearance 😳😑 Agree that the mods wouldn’t take down your photo unless they believe it was not actually you 😎

Always hits the nail on the head. Every single photo on my page and in albums is 6 months old or less. I would be really pissed off if I met up with someone who looked different to their profile pic especially if it is an old one. It works in reverse as well. I looked very different 10 years ago and about 15 kgs lighter so it would be a huge shock for anyone meeting me now. Being deceitful and lying only gets you caught out and makes you look like an idiot. Having had my profile stolen and put on another site (Which I found out about) and also catching someone on another site who had fake pics, It is not hard to reverse search images and catch someone in a lie. Honesty and a bit of integrity will get you further than being fake.

LOL...I've been called worse by better. Private pics all current and if I want to send along more I'll wait until they pass the dreaded "voice test." What---ever!!! 🙃😃😎 - Posted from rhpmobile

How does anyone with no profile pic expect to get any hits when for me it is the first thing I look at?? Makes no sense!!

Mostly less than 12 months, a couple up to 3 yrs but all are relevant to today. I ensure they represent me, no filters or retouch. I fear rejection at first meet so l do not want to increase the chances of that. And I expect to meet who l was thought l was meeting. If you show a six-pack, l expect to be able touch that six-pack. If you show clean shaven, I'm not expecting a caveman to turn up. If l see Brad Pitt then I expect I'll be reporting a stolen pic......

You are just wasting peoples time if you have photos that look nothing like how you are now. You are also making your chances of finding people to play with extremely low. Why would we play with someone who is being deceitful. You know what I love.... Seeing a profile who has an everyday down to earth photo, meeting them in person and going "WOW you guys are BETTER looking in real life"
