Paid vs unpaid membership

I’m wondering what the other women’s experiences/thoughts are….I’ve never had a paid membership as have always received plenty of messages ranging from a deluge to a trickle and figured if guys are serious about having fun they will have a paid membership. Buy just wondering what others especially those with a paid membership have experienced?

As a paid single when I was single I didn't meet a single person through messaging here. And it was all polite stuff. Never got angry or jaded with anyone. Towards the end of six or so months I wasn't really using messaging anymore so resounding was the silence. As a female you'll rarely be met with silence if you message. Which is the direct opposite of the single male experience.

It’s all well and good for”…if guys are serious about having fun they’ll have a paid membership…” but it leaves you at the whim of the messenger… are you happy with your inbox ? If you had a membership it would alow you to initiate contact with the profiles that interest you.

I've never had paid membership in 16 years, not going to start now.... No need.... Yet lol.

Probably 1 in 500 profiles, I'm like.... God damn wish I was paid up and I could message he/she/they. But favourite-ing them incites a message to me, most of the time. So on those odds, the cash isn't worth it for me.

It’s entirely psychological. If you want something specific badly enough you pay for it. Otherwise you sit, wait and hope. This also feeds directly into a recent post where everyone got their knickers in a twist because the vast majority of people aren’t like in some fantasy novel. The who desire something badly enough work hard and make it happen.

paid or unpaid makes no difference for me. no one wants me or talks to me...so there is little point in paying for the ability to message you back if i never hear from you.

Found paid membership (male perspective) a waste of time. Probably had more contact as a free member.
