So how about I come over and rub my heads all over your body so I can read all curves and bumps on your body? It won't help with profile accuracy but I sure would enjoy it... Seriously though your pictures tell the story much better than the label and you look delicious to me.

Every person has there own opinion on how they see them self, and some slim women seem to think there big. and bigger women sometime vice versa. Anyway I replied to a flirt from a female with know pics who declared she was "a little extra padding" so we exchange numbers so she can send me a pic of herself. Great but no pic just excuse after excuse, then out it comes, I dont like sending my pic because I dont like my body. turns out she's a size 26!! If this is right then Jenny you need to change yours to slim!!!

+1 with Ramakin ... you are fine Jenny. Your pics describe more than any generalisation and what might be ample for a short person is "a few extra pounds" for a regular height person and average for a tall person. I would consider ->6 as slim, 8-10 as athletic, 10-12 as average...14-16 a few extra pounds and 18-> as ample. You have "comfort curves" and nothing wrong at all with size sweet 16. ET xox

You raise an interesting point Jen. The mere fact that I still have hair on my head should count for something. This observation of yours explains to me why it is that all the pies under thirty look very fucking attractive. hehe. All those smooth non wrinkley bodies and faces... damn they're hawt... but I've been forgetting to factor in the effects of aging. My ears aren't so big and hairy after all. Hugs Stalky

braking down whats avarage can be hard as everyone has a different opinion. Like others have mentioned there is the sub category of age that plays a part to.At times we get a message from say a couple that are say 15-20 years older. Looking at there pic's if I am honest they are attractive but for there age. So if we were 15 - 20 years older or they were 15-20 years younger it would most likely be a yes. The rejection then isn't to say they are ugly just that 20 years greats a different category.When it comes to weight yes somewhat over weight has become the new average. Best bet is to have a pic and let others make a choice for them self.Tim

whether it is on sex sites or other supposedly traditional sites. I think that cuts both ways and you are your most important critic. In the years I have been online I have never met any female who was athletic even though most of them called themselves athletic in their description. Contrary to popular female beliefs on here at times about guys, we know from pictures whether females are bullshitting or not about body type. Does that effect whether alot of guys will message you or not? NO. Here is a good test have a few pics showing you basic body type and put down body type as athletic or skinny and see what happens... In alot of ways body type COMMENTS on a profile page are of low value and importance, everyone wants to cling to athletic or average when they are not. Good point about whether you compare yourself to others in your age bracket or the general population. Most of us will err on the side of what puts us in a better light, after all we typically like to see ourselves on the side of being positive... at least thats what my ego is telling me.

Thin = Thin Athletic = Athletic Average= the Average build ( so over weight) A little extra padding is between Athletic and Average LArge = Large Simple really

I'd say your borderline "a little extra padding". but your right, it's so subjective. and 16 is probably very average for ladies in there 40'sI think either is very fair ~shrugs~

The other ones that I love are the one's on some other sites that have the date they have joined! Says 21 yr's old yet the date joined is say 2004, mmmmmm, So how old are you Really??? Even worse to see that on couples profiles, it makes you have to think when you read the age/age difference and how long they have been "going out" , what some are really like. Yeap, picture's worth a thousand words(non photo shopped)

So what's 'ample' then? I've put down that I'm ample as.. well I think there is an ample amount of me *LOL* - definitely more than extra padding which I'd guess is a 'muffin top' thing happening? Does it help that when I'm contacted that I state I'm a bigger girl / BBW - so it causes no confusion and let the reader know that if that's not their thing then I wish them all the best as not everyone is for everyone :-)My Private Gallery has shots of me so if we get to that point where I want to know more or they do (and I'm interested) then they can make their own mind up. Photo's can only give you so much infomation..even what they "used" to look like lol..If people are serious they will or should cam up for you then you can size them up with your own eyes and not someones beer goggles or long held vision of their youth!

I think the terms voluptuous, curvy, rubenesque even BBW should be a description option. 'A Naughty Wife' definitely fits into voluptuous...which is very attractive. Ample is when you can toss your boobs over your shoulder & your tummy hangs so low u can't see ur pussy & neither can anyone else.

Looking at your photos we would certainly describe your 'size' as average. A little extra padding would be just a little larger than average surely? There would be a big difference between an average 21 year old and an average 44 year old so we think you need to take your age into consideration. Others will of course disagree but there are plenty of people out there who actually prefer average/little extra padding/curvy or whatever word you wish to use.

Great point Jennylee. I also wondered about this.On one of my googling procrastination sprees, I found out that the "average" size for an Australian adult female is a standard size 16 (some stats put it as a 14 but most were 16). Of course, it would be skewed on age and extremes, and I think that plays a part in the "body shape classification" here. I usually look at the age and adjust - average for a 18 year old is different to a 60 year old etc. I am a size 14 and have put 'average'. There's definitely nothing athletic about me and I guess my soft bits might be viewed by some as extra padding (including by the "me in my early 20s"! I was a size 8 and thought that was pretty average ;p)I found this out after someone insisted that Marilyn Monroe was a size 16. She always looked so small to me, womanly and curvy, but I never would of put her at a size 16. Turns out, our sizing standards have also changed dramatically over the last few decades. According to Marilyn's official stats, she would be the equivalent of today's size 8 to 10! I think having a current body shot and camming helps people make their mind up (although am still convinced the cam makes guys smaller and women bigger :P)

Do you honestly think someone that is 5'2 and takes a size 10-12 is slim to average compared to someone that is a size 14-16 is ample or large....I am ample...I have large breasts thay make me wear an extra shirt size compared to my bottom half...maybe I am large in some guys eyes...but I exercise every day...and eat healthly every day...and am still in better shape than some of the shorter girls I know...that love to claim that they fit into a size12...meh

Size talk to men is like them talking to us women, well some of us .. about engines and cars..( to me ..all I hear is blah blah blah..means nothing..) If you think you look average, state average. If you feel ample covers it then state it! Age to size means nothing as body shapes arn't governed by age but by healthy lifestyle, having kids,life etc and in some of the lucky bastards categories "good genes" I Rather like "didyouknows" descriptions of Rubenesque and Voluptuous as descriptions..Have always thought I was born in wrong era..Id have been a catch in Leonardos era and Id have been able to eat more of what I like dammit!! As it is..I put my 5'3 frame as average because it is..Hubby as Athletic as he trumps most dudes his age and younger on here in fitness and weight ratio.( I'm the slug of the duo..) One valuable lesson I learnt from this place and it may be misguided under the sexual lusts of the male species, or maybe its just more open for me to see here, is size means a lot more to us women then it does the blokes. Its how you carry/project yourself that speaks volumes to them.Just be honest to yourself.. I would hate anyone to meet us and go..."Ohhhhhhhhhhh....not what I expected.."

just touching on the "accuracy" topic, I would suggest ppl would post at least one photo in their albums showing "evidence" of how recent that photo is.. one thing is to show a 10 yr old photo of you as opposed to one taken yesterday.. my suggestion: a photo with the latest newspaper/new idea / womans weekly / ralph / zoo mag showing the date corny but effective.. it would minimize the whole "how long ago was that photo taken" issue..td&h
