Protection

November 20 2009

Hey all   Was just in chat tonight and was watching someone and a couple on cam and... leaving out details of course.  When it came down to it they used no protection whatsoever, kinda ewwwwwed me out a bit.  If you are partner swapping shouldn't protection be a must?    What are peoples thoughts on this?

Safe sex isn't always about condoms. If the couple have known each other for a while and have chosen to be monogamous with each other (odd I know but a lot of couples are monogamous with one other couple), then they've safe-guarded themselves in that respect, so the sex is safe. This is no different to singles being advised to use protection OR abstain OR engage in a monogamous relationship (after everyone has been cleared of all nasties).Having said that, yes... there seems to be more and more people unconcerned with protection for one-off or new partner sex. We're no longer living in an age where AIDS is a definite death sentence and everything else can pretty much be treated or cured. For this reason we've been getting the whole chlamydia campaign as it's on the up and up.I say exercise common sense. If you feel comfortable with a handful of people you play with and choose to go bareback then be responsible and make sure you and your play friends are all routinely tested but use condoms for any new people you play with. How well can this be regulated? Well that's up to each couple/single. I'd rather keep it safe as possible personally :D
