I personally use the bsafe app - its free i turn it on and my friends have it too , it shows them my GPS co ordinates and has an very loud alert button i can hit should anything be going on to draw attention to myself. if i hit the emergency button it calls my emergency contact and starts recording the background . I also always tell somewhere where i'm going, what time i'm going, the name of the person i'm meeting, and tell them what time they should hear from me by ie i will text you at 630 if you dont hear from me , come check on me.

I also always meet in public first, if we are going back to my place i prefer they follow me home in their car so that i'm not actually giving my address.. i mean they could easily tell by looking at the street sign and number on arrival but very few think to look especially when they are about to get some lol. Then they don't have any record of my address .

I think filming for security is a little over the top. And if I knew someone was filming me, I would be very upset about that. As for me, Im happy to let my best friend know I am meeting someone new. I call when I arrive to say everything is fine. I do this in front of the guy so he is aware that somebody knows I am with him. If its the first time I am meeting them at a hotel/house, i will give my friend the room number/address.

I wouldn't record everything, either voice or video, and I would be livid if I discovered that someone I was meeting with had done that to me. I would hope that my screening processes beforehand had weeded out any major dramas. For any meets, I'd let a trusted friend know where I'll be and who I'm with, and make periodic contact via text just to let them know how things were progressing - and yes, I'd make sure the person I was meeting knew that someone was aware of my movements. I have in the past used Find My Friends, with a trusted friend having access to my location via my iPhone account.

Definitely creepy. Put the shoe on the other foot - what would you think if he were recording her etc. I am a guy (doubel checks. . Yep) and I let a friend know where I'm going and timings etc. Plus I'll message part way then again the next day. .... heres a somewhat unusual approach. How about she meets them socially first..... to see if they're waving any of the red flags to indicate that they might be worthy of higher levels of precaution..... or avoid them. But then.... Meeting socially a few times first doesnt mean they arent a weirdo behind closed doors.I still tell someone the address and check in with them.

I know a few key self-defense moves and I carry pepper spray. You'll never be able to remove risk completely, there are slippery people out there who will pass your screenings with flying colours despite having malicious intentions. Don't let someone lock you in a room, tie you up or handcuff you to something unless you have built a solid foundation of trust. That's just common sense IMHO. Educate and prepare yourself and you will have the best chance of making it out of sticky situations.

I don't think it's right to film without permission. I know u got to b safe but there's got to b a line between where u assume the risk and protect people's rights to not b filmed. I'd b horrified if someone taped me. If u r that worried then I would suggest u get a hotel room or not do it at all and just have sex with people u have known and trust. I don't mean that harshly but it's something that people go to the police about. I would. If a guy did it to u would u find it a little perverted? It's assumed that when u hook up with people here that it does involve an element of risk. We r hooking up with people we don't know well. OMG...... seriously! A phone call to a trusted friend to let them know all is ok, fine. But seriously, voice recordings, spy cams, Cameras set up in a room???? Good Grief..... Without sounding nasty, if a guy did this to a women it'd be on for young and old. But it's ok for us females to do this..... Anyone inflicted these type of date scenarios onto me, I'd run a mile. Really, really fast!

about this hidden camera in the purse thing..... Ok so picture this. Your friend meets a guy, gets along really well, etc. they get back to his place, ties her to the bed or whatever in preparation for some bdsm style stuff.... Then.....he.....turns...... Despite her screening process, despite her gut feelings, despite it all...... Wtf is a camera in her purse exactly going to do??? Film the fluff in her purse doing some kind of satanic ritual and sacrifice the $50 that she wanted to spend on dessert?? Oh but wait up.....we'll rewind.... He turns on her..... She says "righto buddy that's it....you're fucked, so untie me at once!!!" He asks "what for??" She replies "cos you're fucked now, I'm gonna get my hidden camera outta my purse to film the fuck outta you!!!! You're going straight to youtube fame!!" Lol..... You can take all the measures under the sun to protect yourself, but a cunt will always find a way around it....waiting....it's a risk people take everyday even walking down the street.....
