Sleepy Sex

December 30 2009

sex

Last night my husband went to bed before me, when I got into bed about an hour later he rolled over and said "hey darl, come lay with me", he encourage me to lay with my head on his chest. Now all that sounds fine except for two things he never calls me "darl" and never wants me to lay with my head on his chest. Anyway we kept cuddling like that and one thing lead to another and we were having sex soon - my husband even put on a condom (I have an IUD but we will sometimes use condoms just as it is neater). Again that all sounds fine expect my husband was just about to come and I did not want him to yet so I moved but he came anyway then very loudly and shocked my husband said "what... how long have we been having sex for?" he had been alseep all the way through until a few seconds before he came. This is not the first time my husband has started sex while asleep but one of the only times to my knowledge he has finished will still asleep. Most times he starts something then rolls over still asleep when I ask him about it in the morning he often does not remember it.  So my question is does this happen to anyone else, I know sleep walking and sleep eating are familiar common but sleep sex?

this is actually a medical condition i forget the name of it but i would seriously get him to go to a doc or something. Other people that have this condition have raped there partner, not that im saying he would ever do it.   till next time   scott

The condition is very real, and is documented: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sleep_sex. It even got air time as a side plot on an episode of the medical drama House.

I've had a something similar a few times when my partner at the time would start to make use of me while I was asleep in the every early hours.  While I would seeply wake up I felt like I was dreaming and not really beable to tell if it was real or not. All I say is it was fantastic, just think about it half dream and half real.    Ladies try this on your man, do him a favour.

Yeah it's real allright. I have started to have sex with past partners while asleep but never cum while asleep. It has ended at least one relationship of mine as i could not convince my partner that i knew it was her i was seducing. Don't judge the poor bastard, get some help from a health professional or councellor.   Chris

Why do women haveto analyse the hell out of everything?   The only important thing to consider is whether or not you enjoyed it.   If you did, great.   If you did not, next time dont let him wake up till you finish.   This reminds me of a workmate who always complained about her husband who always came home to tired and stiff and sore to have sex.   I subtly suggested that she jump on him while he was still stiff.   Whtas wrong with the world today is that people are too uptight, tense, worry about eferything, take themselves and everything so seriously, analyse the hell out of everything, and usually arrive at the wrong conclusion.    Hang loose.  Lighten up  There is a little playfull kid in all of us.  Dont stifle him\her.  Let the little one out to play some time and life will be so much better.   LIGHTEN UP.  Geeeeeeeeeeeeez

Thanks for all the info people, I have looked on the internet after post this thread but just wanted to know if anyone else have had a similar experiences . So thanks for the people who shared their experiences. It is such a shame that it has ruined a few relationships. Seeing as  how I have lived with my husband for ten years and he has been having sleep arousal/sex that who time I have never really thought much of it, but that was the furtherest he has ever gone to my knowledge while asleep, but it makes me wonder have there been other times when he has slept all the way through.  I don't doubt that he is really asleep, I know him well enough.  When it happens most of the time we always have a laugh about it in the morning because he does not remember it at all, and at times can be very different to how we "normally" make love ie calling me darl, being rough or softer then normal.   The only time it can be annoying is when he wakes me up gets me all excited then rolls over back to real sleep.  MrDarkness, I don't need to lighten up, I don't over analyse things , I just wanted to know if anyone else had had a similiar expereince.

I know a guy who used to do this all the time. We soon worked out that he did it when seriously over- tired. He would work very long shifts...as an owner/operator...sometimes as long as 30hrs a shot. He is now stress free and sleeps like the dead.   It may or may not be a 'serious medical issue' but we found it was just lack of good quality sleep...YMMV.

i've had that a couple of times many years ago - when I was seriouslys sleep deprived and I was nearly zombie-like from exhaustion... from what i understand you could interact with me normally, and I might remember fooling around beforehand, or I might 'wake up' partway through - but it would be a complete blank spot in my memory.takes all the fun out of it if you can't remember it :(

My partner and I, on numerous occasions (at least 20 this year) have both awoken to find ourselves in mid coitus.  We can not say with any certainty who is initiating.  I will admit to being annoyed a few times, as I had really only just gotten off to sleep, and was feeling very tired.

My ex used to fuck in his sleep, at first I was offended... then I quickly realised sex when he was asleep was better than when he was awake!!!! But like Scott mentioned it can be scary and one time my ex was very forceful to the point that if I hadn't hurt him to wake him up he would have raped me   Hope you get things sorted   Regards K

MrP has told me occasionally over the years that I would come on to him during the night and then just roll over and go back to sleep, something I never had any knowledge of the morning after. I never had any reason to disbelieve him, but I have sure have wondered till reading your story... Wow!... Mrs P'

My wife and I went through a period many years ago where she largely went off sex but I found if I made approaches after she was asleep she'd willing open her legs and wriggle begging to be fucked. She usually woke up half way through the fuck and usually admitted to enjoying it. I never did understand???? But hey most nights I got a good enthusiastic fuck and she was happy too.  So ..........
