Stilettos

July 29 2012

Doing a straw poll here on whether stiletto heels are for you (it's non-gender specific for both lookers and wearers):- Do you love to wear them? - Do you love to look at them? - Do they turn you on?I haven't ever wanted to wear them as I'm a bit more practical in my general life, having lived in the country, had a landscaping business and just loved my steel-capped, lacky-sided boots best. I now live in the city, work an office job but stand most of the day ... and have aging knees and my lower back can get niggley. Now, that I've changed my whole life about, bought a totally 'impractical' outfit of a boned lace-up corset, suspender belt, lacy thigh-high stockings (although hot and sexy .... meow!) .... maybe I need to continue along the trajectory as I get flung into the dizzying realms of some outersphere. I was asked by a potential playmate what I thought about stilettos "to go with that?" because they find the visual element to be such a turn on .... My response: "I'm not sure whether YOU would look good in stilettos! ..."... A thought: how about you and I both buy stilettos and we practice wearing them so that we can both appear confident and natural with our sexy swagger as we walk down the street." Let alone wearing them during an active run and chase around the furniture or with my legs in the air or digging into the mattress ... (you get the idea!).Any thoughts, tips, suggestions, stiletto-training ideas, etc. more than welcome. Rox(still wearing "L-plates" for lots of things)

I love my stillettos.   I am a heels girl through and through (still seeking some steel toed heels to wear in my warehouse for work). I only own 2 pairs of shoes that dont have heels of some height on them (joggers/sneskers and my work shoes).   They are a great way to sculpt and build your calf muscles and I have been wearing them pretty much exclusively for the past 15 years.   I can do the same stuff that other women do in flats. I have been known to chase people while wearing them, I shop in them, go out in them, walk all over the place in them (seeing as I dont drive I kind of have to lol) and dont have any problems. I was absolutely devastated when for 4 months last year I was unable to wear them while recovering from a dislocated knee.   My tips are: 1. Start off small and work your way into the height 2. Wear new shoes around home first to get used to the height (even try stairs, squats, running, dancing etc in them)   Hope that helps   Kisses Focus

You can find gel pads to stick into the insides of your shoes at chemists and supermarkets, they will help prevent the growth of calluses and corns. Try not to wear extremely high heels if you have back and neck problems, as it can place a fair bit of pressure on those areas.

Yes to look at and yes yes yes they are a turn on.. Mind u, it's about the "total package" the heels on their own can be sexy, but add a gorgeous woman wearing them - and whe I say gorgeous it's about attitude too - we are on to something ;) Hope your transition from L to P plates goes well ;) td&h

Doesnt matter how high they are ;) I'd personally only ever get "play" stilettos as I have the worst balance ever. I can walk in heels 2-3 inches if they are chunky but other than that we are looking at Vaga-on-her-butt. However, if they do that much for someone's visuals, I'd buy 'em, get on the bed, put 'em on, then buzz him in ;)

None of the three pairs of shoes I currently own are stilettos. So no, I can't say I love to wear them. But yes, I'm often known to look at a pair of sexy skyhighs and go "cor look at those pretties" (I'll let you wonder wether I mean the shoes or the chick wearing them ;) lol). I wouldn't say they intrinsically turn me on... but I do like the idea of digging the heels into my lover's back, which has been tempting enough to make me seriously consider squandering the cash! ;D

I’m so with you Lost Focus …I live for my stilettos and I will die wearing them…. and I will be buried in a pair of them !!!..I adore them and I’m capable of doing anything and everything whilst wearing them – I guess it’s mainly come about due to being short and having tall partners most of my dating life. I love the long lean look they give my legs, I dance in them for burlesque and pole and I tremble at the mere thought of ballets flats…its stilettos or bare foot for me….and they provide an excellent workout for your calves, thighs and bum…their hot.... I was at burlesque show last week and one of the performers whilst performing, took off her shoes and danced around for a bit, before she took of her bra/top… HORROR !!! !!!, strait away, she took away her sex appeal, glamour and mystique of her persona , the barefoot thing that she had happening did not sit well with the audience….and she was booed…….bottom line, is that stiletto shoes scream sex and promise ……and don’t you always feel great, powerful and in charge when your strutting your stuff in a new pair… Yep they can cause all sorts of grief to our feet, that’s true, but one of the secrets to avoid calluses etc is to wear a different pair each time you do wear a pair, don’t keep wearing old faithfuls….take the time to break them in before going out in them, when you remove them and shower, massage your tootsies with a rich foot lotion and its always better if you can wear stockings with them…I love my stiletto fetish…..it’s just such a costly fetish to have

Being height challenged Im alway in heels - if not I just feel dowdy Get the height stilettos that are just a bit over your comfort zone and practice with it around the house. Oh, and practice bending over with them on, especially when wearing a short skirt

...but at the same time, some girls just look awkward trying to walk in them and it makes them less sexy.

I am tall, put me in heels and I look down on most men. Though you now me Ms Velvet when I hit the pub there are some nights to do put on heels, but its a terror trip to the bathroom , those slippery floors!   so they are my find a barstool and cross your legs shoes.   Mostly I love my flat Hugo boss ridding boots.   I have worn heels to bed a few times, and ruined some bloody good sheets. But when you have suspenders, corset and stockings you have to have those heels to match. The great irony is that , they work so bloody well to turn a guy on that they cum to soon!

Firstly I love comfort and it is how you choose your shoes that make them great for you. I love high shoes, they are sexy and yes I feel confident in them.   LADIES when walking in them stand up straight, shoulders back, hold your head high and strut your stuff. Powerful!   I love a sale and recently bought a gorgeous pair cream with gold heels and a bow on the front for $14.00,yep cheap and sexy.

A male at 5 foot seven doesn,t get seen by women wearing them. Aren,t those things painful to walk in?

They finish off a sexy outfit. I love to wear them, and love to look at women wearing them, but Jensman is sooo right, if you can't walk in them forget it. I saw a very attractive woman at last years spring carnival racing she had a very sexy leopard print outfit on, and had a fab figure to go with it, she had sky high stilettoes and had not mastered the walk... ruined the whole effect, just looked ridiculous. They throw your centre of gravity out, so you do have to make adjustments in the hip area, like Teasegoddess says, shoulders back, head high, confidence and rock those heels...

The great thing about having size 5 feet and being really short is that I can always buy cheap heels and I'm never too tall :D Maybe that's why I only have 2 pairs of flat shoes out of 20 odd pairs. LOVE MY HEELS!!

I love my heels, am 5 ft 1" so they are a necessity for me. All my lovers seem to be over 5 ft 10". Have worn them since I was 15 years old. The problem now is at my age arthritis rears its ugly head, in my case feet, and they can be agony. Now having my shoes made for me by Benelli with a slightly lower heel.

I have several pairs of stilettos - boots and high heels ..... 6 inch ones are impressive - makes me over 6ft tall Dated a guy who was shorter than me in flats and needless to say I towered over him when I wore them out to dinner one night. He didn't mind in the least - it put him at perfect boob height

Oh yeah..... For me it's any high heel, the way they shape a woman's legs and arse, love it. Nothing more sexy than the shape, walk, of a woman in heels, always have to have a 2nd look as they pass by. ;) Tall xx
