The illuminati was a fairly short lived secret society formed in 1776 in Bavaria. If they were still around and responsible for half of the nafarious deeds conspiracy theorists attribute to them, I don't reckon they'd waste their time knocking off celebrities. - Posted from rhpmobile

the BIGGEST conspiracy was.."There is actually NO conspiracy" ???In any casse.. who cares?IF they do in fact exist.. then you and I are mere pawns in their games.. and we are about to get eradicated.BUT... whilst you are on the subject of secret societies... try the Mont Pelerin society...

At one time, i was a 'committed' conspiracy theorist from back during the Waco, Oklahoma City, World Trade center bombing number 1, and Ruby Ridge days. World wide government plot to take over the U.S. and make us all in to one big happy slave race of minions. 'New world order' stuff.I have since learned to take things with a 'grain of salt'.But in the light of recent world events, I have come to think that agents Mulder and Scully might have been on to something. The Illuminati goes back long before the middle ages, by probably a thousand years or more. i am talking Indaina Jones and the last crusade time frame. As far as celebrities biting the dust, I doubt if they were that tied to world events to make a difference in the scheme of things. Now Obama, on the other hand, i have been waiting to see him turn in to a shape-shifting lizard and find out he is from the planet dumb-ass.

When I looked into it, there was much more than the deaths of these guys. If I had to give examples it would be one of those very very long posts. I find it interesting, whether theres a basis or not. For me, it seems a lot of people find it easier to not believe in things they hope are unbelievable. Im not saying that all of the bumff on the subject bears any truth, but it seems that instances like Marilyn Monroe being murdered, Princess Diana being murdered and the existence of the Elm Guest House in London now bear evidence. There are definitely things that are kept from the public. But hey, Im probably just one of those kooky birds who enjoys reading sensational reportings....

an interesting and closer society is the HR Nichols Society..Touted as a political society...but.. a little digging will find it MUCH more deep then that.. AND associated WITH the Mont Pelerin Society too..With the HR Nichols Society, you may be surprised to see WHO the founding members are... and who the active members are..NOT limited to the Liberals...

I can't say too much cos this post is probably being monitored... That's right. The truth is out-there...out-there indeed. And the entertainment industry is where the Illuminati hold their tightest grip. YouTube has some good docos that will make you see things differently. White man has been exploiting black talent for decades to the tune of billions. Even murder the ones that refuse to play their game. Biggie, Tupac, Eazy E, Sammy Davis Jr, Dave Chappelle... Allegedly, of course....

Early on in mine and hisselfs relationship, we had a brush with Scientologists in Perth. I paid for a course run by another novice like myself and then put up with phonecalls from them to do the same for another sucker they wanted close to 100 dollars from. I have a high degree of scepticism that helped keep me out of that. I watched a show by Louis Theroux in the last few months (he has heaps of interesting programs about swingers and such) looking deeper into things. The most recent episode was to do with Scientologists. The lengths they went to in their efforts to make him leave the area of the compound that was the hub of their training. Very scary stuff. Lots of creepy footage. That's something curious to consider. Peachy

And Trump is their leader?lol For me there are bigger conspiracies happening right now in front of our eyes... Who sells arms to countries and then comes in to 'save' them, money laundry, assassinations on big scale, pollies not telling us what they are really up to, the way they behave when their positions are threatened and how they make laws for donators and not for the people, how they sit around (knights round table ?) 24/7 planning to make their population uneducated and apathetic, or how media plays with presenting half truths, trivialising subversiveness of art, promoting sex without intimacy, escapism without subversion... I don't know where to stop.:) An interesting time we live in. And Kissinger is still alive. The easiest way to classify true story as a "silly conspiracy" is to put few really silly theories out there that everyone agrees on being silly. Sorry Op, I know what you mean, but I can't help being sarcastic.(Ms)

Haven't yet had time to delve into the topic, but there was an interesting programme on not too long ago about possible conspiracies to do with Marilyn, as well as JFK. There appear to be alternative explanations if you dig deep enough. Trouble is it appears there are 'keepers of the truth' that try to make sure not everything is uncovered, and hence the ordinary people in the street never get told the full story. Ignorance is bliss ?? I am sure there is more to many stories than we are ever told - but how to prove it may be another matter. Tall

@ cat_n_the_hatter. Actually, the reason the left and right, media, celebrities, and filthy mega rich elitists HATE Trump so much is because he is NOT a part of the system and is screwing up their plan of world domination of making us in to a society of sexless drones grown in test tubes. Sadly, more fact than fiction anymore. Trump is the fly in their ointment.

"Asked whether she was engaging in 'personal sledging' against Costello, Gillard said the Australian people are entitled to know his views if he is next in line to be a Liberal Prime Minister. 'If the Prime Minister's case is it didn't matter whether or not he told the Australian people about WorkChoices at the last election because they kind of knew he was that sort of guy, then we are entitled to know what sort of guy Peter Costello is,' she said. 'And the fact that he was a founder of the H R Nicholls Society, he has been continuously involved in it, and they believe in extreme industrial relations reform, is part of what makes up Peter Costello. 'Australians are entitled to know it before the election because he could end up Prime Minister in a matter of months.' Gillard accused Costello of trying to 'slide' into being Prime Minister without facing appropriate scrutiny." Really..... ? Yep, workplace reforms started with the EBA's (Enterprise barganing agreements) I believe and fortunately they are not allowed to be below the NSA (National Standards for Australia) which I believe "unionists" fought hard for through out our industrial history. I'm not saying I agree with all Industrial changes, but I am saying it's food for thought. Although this is not a conspiracy but fact. - Posted from rhpmobile

Funny, I just randomly started watching some 9/11 footage a few nights ago and wow I had no idea. I watched a really good clip but I can't find it again to post the link. The guy examined the news footage, supposed vision of the planes flying into the twin towers and after watching it, I now question whether there were planes at all. He used technology and his educated mind, to examine the background, how the news footage removed certain things that appeared to be very relevant, a BBC reporter apparently did a live report on building 7 coming down 20 minutes before it actually came down, and you can see the building over her shoulder out the window? So much more, Bush's lies etc but who's to say all the sceptical analysis isn't sensational in itself and fabricated? How do we ever know?
-

The BBC report could very well have had dubbed in old background vision, not uncommon for them to do that, so that one is easily dispelled, but the others, not so easy. The only one that is believable is flight 93, hijacked, but with people ringing family, no doubt surrounds that one. But was it bombs or planes that did the damage to the twin towers, and the pentagon. You can imagine the government would want to conceal the breach of security, particularly the pentagon

Quoting 'inspirit'...Gillard accused Costello of trying to 'slide' into being Prime Minister without facing appropriate scrutiny." ...It must be fair to presume the term "appropriate scrutiny" refers to a Federal Election. However, it's important to remember, here in Australia the electorate does not actually vote for the specific person who is to become the Prime Minister. The Liberal and Labour Parties each have their own method of electing a leader from within their own ranks. How do you suppose Julia Gillard characterises/reconciles this comment with the transitions of Labour Party leadership from Rudd to Gillard, then eventually to Shorten? Would Julia Gillard characterise any/all of them as 'slides' also ? * * I query this from a non-partisan perspective... Strikes me as another case of the pot calling the kettle 'black'. Left or Right, Man or Woman; same sh*t, different stink.

Yeah. I've read and seen more than a few articles on the twin towers collapsing and the professional opinions of experts on subjects like skyscraper architecture and controlled demolition of buildings, and I'm now a convert to the theory that it wasn't caused by jetliners crashing into them. There just seems to be too much going against that accepted explanation.Apparently, in the history of building skyscrapers, none has ever collapsed in such a controlled manner( that's straight down.. ) from a fire before that day. They're designed to withstand extreme fires. Some, even planes hitting them. And in one day, 3 tall buildings collapsed like has never happened before. One of them wasn't even hit by a plane! Coincidence? A big one, considering there were good reasons for the US to want to go to war with "terrorist states"...to have a "legitimate" excuse to exercise control over foreign assets. Like oil for one. It's just too much coincidence for me to believe.

Yes, I'm only just scratching the surface but that was my feeling too. I did think it strange the towers collapsed straight down like a controlled demolition, I remember thinking that at the time. But surely the American wouldn't deliberately kill that many of their own people? I believe it's a cover up to hide their poor security. Planting bombs in major buildings and the pentagon which should have the best security, shouldn't have been possible, the cover up is the only logical explanation for me at this early stage, but lots more reading to do 😃

Ive watched a few of the 9/11 clips on Youtube and there is a whole other story there. There are a lot of things that cant and wont be explained in our lifetime. And is it coincidence that people who decide to tell what they know conveniently die? Ted Gunderson for example. I love reading about conspiracy theories but it scares me. Its like a weird fascination. And yes, Q, we live in a beautiful world and its slowly being destroyed. Loving the replies, lots of food for thought xx

Yeah, read up all the obscure articles you can find.As frightening as the idea is that some or all this stuff could be true, it's fascinating reading. And why couldn't it be the truth, I say....historical precedents and expert opinions are not good enough for an official story? It just smells too fishy when you dig into stuff that's not even hidden. It's all in the public domain online. I think it's a shame too, for opinions that are not the "official" ones, to be mocked as conspiracy theories as out there as faked moon landings or UFO's and aliens.I think it's widely accepted now that we aren't alone in the universe...yet it was once mocked as science fiction. BTW, I don't think the moon landings were faked....it was just too plausible. Just like the WTC buildings collapsing like a controlled demolition, because that's how it's done. All 3 of them. In one day. Crazy stuff..

I really don't care how any leader slides into power and that was not the point of my post.. I was merely pointing out a society here in our own back yard who are working towards changing our industrial relations policies for less pay, no rights and of course abolishing federal and state awards..... Sorry Champagne for raising a touchy subject on your post. There are many societies we know nothing about and yes it makes me wonder why we as citizens of this world are kept in the dark. - Posted from rhpmobile

As I eluded in my asterisked disclaimer, I am taking a non-partisan approach to that aspect of the discussion, and I make no personal attack against you or others beyond simply pointing out (as Cavey did also) both/all sides of politics have (and are) engaged in the same sniping and point scoring. (What follows will be seen to be on topic. Please bear with me). In respect of Industrial Relations, noteworthy is the Labour Party's and the Union movement's own failures of working people. They are demonstrably not actually the champions of the working class they so loudly claim to be. I do not think this is the case for all people involved in those (and their related) organisations , but certainly there are many, many documented instances of both/all sides of politics acting out of what objectively might appear to be pure self interest. In this and other G20/B20 member countries, both sides of politics and the business lobby have engaged in a race to the bottom in the sense that they (Australia included) have engaged in a form of 'reverse auction' whereby workplace standards are undermined/sacrificed/shortcut in order our goods and services may compete on price in the global marketplace. This has seen workplace safety comprises, casualisation of the workforce, and stagnant wage growth for workers, whilst simultaneously executive remuneration risen to astronomical figures. Personally, I think it would be far wiser to encourage developing nations to more rapidly adopt the standards and practices of the already developed nations. More fairly and evenly remunerated, the populations of the developing nations would represent massive demand for goods and services from other trading nations. A major factor inhibiting this is the prolific use of multinational company structures and aggressive tax planning (eg tax havens) to manipulate capital flows on a global scale. Another major factor of course is conflict of interest leading to corrupt and even outright criminal conduct. The upshot of all of this is that nation states the world over become involved in 'beggar thy neighbour' economic and monetary policy settings. Whichever way you care to carve it up (irrespective of geographical location), the bill/price/cost is paid by taxpayers and consumers. It becomes a question of what proportion you pay in your capacity as consumer, and what proportion you pay in your capacity as taxpayer. When you consider this in percentage terms, you see it at it's clearest. As you know, regular working people in this country pay 30% Income Tax (and near/approx 10% further in mandatory Superannuation contributions) up front, then a further 10% of the balance in Consumption Tax almost every single time they put their hand in their pockets. Meanwhile, those in the top echelon of income earners afford themselves top flight legal and accounting advice which enables them to pay as little as ZERO tax. Simultaneously, many of these people will be engaged in lobbying of, and donations to politicians on both sides of both houses of our Parliament to help maximise their own commercial opportunities (including framing of Legislation and influence on Government spending initiatives). Now, whether any of the people involved in the activities I've mentioned are involved in the fabled 'Illuminati' (if indeed their is such an organised group of people), wouldn't it be interesting to be a fly on the wall at Davos?

However and I say again.... I was merely pointing out as Cavey did too, there are "underworld" societies here too who do conspire for their own reasons. Does it really matter who founded them, who is on the board and who are members. Not really when we know the soul cause of the society. As far as taxes and super go, sure I get it tho a lot don't. Ask yourself why don't they..how many millions does the government get in their coffers for lack of educating the public AND small business on tax deductions and how many Australians do not understand super is not a given, as we were first led to believe in their media campaigns. I pay my tax. Corporations do not pay any, they give donations directly to politicians. I have no option but to vote for politicians. They make laws not for me but for those who make donations. (example) He gave her donation. She went and bought his apartment for $850,000.00 He pocketed $100,000 No witnesses. She was caught on misuse of her travel expenses, and she was happy to do anything as that is such a small thing compared... Why would I need Illuminate? (Ms)

Lots of celebrities are dying because (1) people die (2) there was an explosion in the number celebrities in the 60s onwards so there's more celebrities to die (3) many of them had extremely heavy drug abuse problems during their early years. Cocaine abuse weakens the linings of year heart which can lead to heart attacks years down the track. That's likely what happens to Carrie Fisher. There is a vast world of international power, power plays, bribery and corruption. However it's much more complex and interesting than the illuminati conspiracy. It's just people find it easier to conceive of the idea of a single giant shadow organisation pulling strings, as opposed to a complex system of power networks. When you guys read these conspiracy articles you have to make sure you apply the same levels and standards of proof that they claim to be applying. If you see a debunk video, go watch an anti debunk video. Usually you'll find these conspiracies sound pretty cool but a 5 minute discussion with anyone who is an expert in the field shows them to be super fake. 9/11 denial is the funniest one to me. An entire city watched it. News networks who were hostile to the establishment saw it. Literally a city of millions saw it happen. Somehow the government magically got access to everyone phones and individually composited planes into everyone's phones. As someone who works in the film industry and specializes in 3D compositing and object removal: those planes weren't added. There's videos with no planes: someone removed them digitally, you can see the artifacting. Steel beams don't melt due to jet fuel. However the heat causes them to lose strength and rigidity to the point the weight of a skyscraper causes them to bend and collapse. There is multiple modern third party pictures of the moon landers on the moon today. And yeah there are radiation issues outside out the earths magnetosphere, that's why all the astronauts now have cataracts from the damage. - Posted from rhpmobile

'Give Me 40 Acres (Ta Turn This Rig Around)' The Willie Brothers Quoting 'inspirit' Please bear with me while I take a moment to indulge in your post, yet of course trying to understand it. Tho Im not really to fussed on the load at the dick nor indeed the consignment note. In my post I'd referred to a delivery to the Loading Dock, not dick ! Typo I guess... (This reminded me of another song: 'Beaver On My Lap, Bear On My Tail' Ferlin Husky) Anyway, it's always important to check the Con Note to ensure you get what you're paying for... Did you order the Coal, the Bananas, or the Chickens? (1) 'Sixteen Tons' Lee Conway [Dunder Mifflin's in Scranton, Pennsylvania isn't it? Dunno why they'd have orderedline item (2) - the Cheeky Monkeys !] (2) '30,000 lbs of Bananas' Harry Chapin (3) 'Wolf Creek Pass' Lester Coombes Quoting 'inspirit'...I find no correlation to my original post... I was merely pointing out as Cavey did too, there are "underworld" societies here too who do conspire for their own reasons. Does it really matter who founded them, who is on the board and who are members. Not really when we know the soul cause of the society. I had responded to the hypocrisy of political manoeuvring and attack on issues of leadership and of the Industrial Relations aspects to your post. There are many Think Tanks and other groups of people/organisations representing the ideas of all sides of politics, and all levels of society. I don't believe it is correct to characterise them as "underworld societies". Many operate quite openly; publishing their own reports, analysis, essays to promote discussion and debate. You'll find this material frequently is freely available. Appearances of representatives in mainstream media are openly declared. Now, there may be some specific individuals who are also involved in other undeclared, and less than open groups... Underworld, or Underground Societies? I dunno. What about religious groups and all of their affiliated/associated business and fundraising entities? What about Trade Unions, Business/Chambers of Commerce, Industry Bodies, Environmental and Community Groups and all of each of their own various affiliated/associated entities for fundraising and other activities? Of course, people have operated in and as networks to cooperate, share ideas/promulgate information (education) and to achieve progress and positive outcomes throughout history. Granted, people also have used the same methods for negative purposes also (including personal enrichment). I think talk of 'Illuminati' is a bit kooky and melodramatic really, hence my early quote from the 'Devil's Dictionary'. Quoting 'inspirit' ..Please take a seat tho and I do hope the picket is not to sharp for your ass. I am not 'picketing' as such. I have never been a member of any Trade Union, or any Political Party, and I do not currently intend shifting that position. I am yet to be strongly persuaded of the benefits of doing so (either). I am personally aware of many who have suffered personal and professional consequences in response to affiliation with such organisations (in spite of legal sanctions meant to protect such rights). Rather, I see greater freedom and flexibility for myself in observing and learning as objectively as I can, taking each issue on its merits. I see discussion and debate of these sorts of things (with a broad cross section of societal backgrounds) as part of my own learning process. Others are free to make their own decisions.
