Travel Plans

Hi Everyone Just posted a travel plan for the next month and almost fell over when I recieved 2 messages and 4 flirts litterally within the space of 2 minutes of posting it! It got me thinking, firstly how did they find it so quick and secondly am I missing out on something that these other users are getting. I understand living in Chinchilla (approx 4 hours West of Brisbane) that there is not a great number of people on the site from out this way and often the notifications that appear on my home page as ____ is coming to your area and wants to meet you are actaully going to Macky or Townsville which really is not anywhere near me. Anyways I just thought I would ask and hope someone could shed some light on this for me Cheers Jess

I don't know, but I usually get the same deal as you. I get ___ is coming to your area and it's usally anywhere from Roma to Mackay or even in Brisbane at times. I'm curious to know aswell. But then again....maybe you just had 6 stalkers all watching your profile and read it at the same time....

I'm not sure if it notifies you of anyone coming anywhere within your set kilometre radius in your search settings or if you just have to fall within theirs.xx Sarah

I travel fortnightly and although I'm unsure how the whole Travel Plan thingy works, I think I'd rather fly under the radar so to speak! :-D Good for those seeking a holiday hook-up though, nothing wrong with having a 'jam-packed' itinerary lined up.

I had the same results as you Jess!!! . I made the mistake of posting a travel plan when I was heading up to Brissy last year for an extended weekend of mischief.... Yes, the messages were flattering to start with but then I became overwhelmed with offers of dinners, events, etc etc! Way too much for one woman to handle!! ;) . However, I did find myself wanting to fill in my ummm time with an afternoon I had set aside for being lazy... so I posted a date on datefinder and within an hour I found a lovely gentleman to keep me company for a little while... God, QLDers know how to host don't they?!! . Its a tough one.... to post or not to post???
