What makes an awesome swingers party?

  I have been in and out of the swingers community for years. Last Sat night some of us got together and it had all the elements of what I rate as awesome. It was private and invite-only. It was couples who at least knew some of the others already. As organiser, I knew they would all get along socially which I think is really important. People knew rules. No means no. Protection used if requested. No one is pushy. Some people had a few drinks but were happy drunks and just made things funnier. It was more conversational than music and dancing but that is also fun in the right setting. Over the years I have been to clubs and big organised events which we also heaps of fun. But for me it is like minded people who can be trusted getting together and enjoying each others company mostly while naked :-) Real people you would invite to your house as friends. Interestingly as we chatted, some of us knew the same people from years ago when I first was introduced to the scene by a lady. I can honestly say I am friends with many former playmates even though our lives have changed e.g. moved away, met a new partner, and other life changes. I take the time to keep in touch by text, phone calls or organise to meet when travelling

  I walked past couples club in Sydney today. At least that location, but now there’s a red light out front with an open sign in the window. Anyhow, the most fun there is when it was packed full of RHP participants hell bent on owning that place. I think the trick is diversity. People in the spa, in the group rooms, in more private spaces, dancing, flirting, playing pool? drinks, a bit of kinky equipment. I guess diversity is mandatory. What doesn’t work? People who try too hard, wannabe doms guys who think they own the joint because they’ve got a camera out and wanna photograph their date without interruption (true story -in Vancouver), hosts that are flat out uptight arseholes with no sense of chill… hydrochloric acid in the lube dispenser…. no fresh towels, sticky floors…. Well actually that’s an acquired ethos… and prejudice. Very uncomfortable.

  I've been to quite a few parties and clubs in my state, interstate and overseas. Things that stand out to me are: the environment (how clean and safe is it- I always ask myself, "would I undress"? There's my answer) and are their hygiene policy & practices/ rules of venue followed through. There's one club in piticular I know of needs to shut down or step up because the environment wouldn't pass health inspection (was very frightening and sickening). Then there's clubs I've been too are like 5* hotels! Private Parties: depends on hosts, their environment and rules in place. Guess one has to go and find out for themselves. That's the only way. Remembering; what's trash to some, is treasure to others. Reviews and word of mouth are not always gospel. Just like validations on here. Ms Foxy
