Why?

March 08 2018

Why is it that most woman tend to Shave/Wax or just have a landing strip these days? 1. Is it for hygiene reasons.2. You just feel more sexy/comfortable3. All your friends do it Cannot remember the last time i was with someone who had a bit of bush, i feel as though I'm missing out! Should we bring back the bush? Guys chime in

Thank Christ they do though, having been around in the bush days, getting pubic hairs stuck in teeth or in the back of your throat wasn't exactly fun nor sexy. Especially when you have to stop to pick out or cough up said offending hairs. Mind you, I do prefer a trimmed landing strip to the pre pubescent look.

I used to wax but a growing pregnant belly meant i couldnt see what i was doing. Have shaved ever since. I think its cleaner. LC.

It's 1 and 2. Although I don't like it completely nude. Will leave a bit for coverage (very neat). I like the smooth feel but definitely more hygienic. Read it online on a medical forum some time ago. Easier to keep clean.

That smooth feeling can't be beat. These days I dabble in letting it grow back before removing it again. Peachy

...I'll do it in a 4x4 and do have enough dental floss thus don't need her to grow it for me. Pink too...is one of my favourite flavours. ⚡️ - Posted from rhpmobile

So purely a personal choice, driven by the way it makes you feel, with maybe an underlying tone of hygeine.Makes perfect sense. I thought it might of been a fashion thing. But with all fashions, they come and go. This is really standing the test of time to the point where is pretty much the norm now. Maybe it was the little landing strip, or tightly trimmed triangle that was the fashionable part? Im glad thats gone...... It was as if you were saying " i don't trust you to find her on your own. Here, let me point you in the right direction"

I like how I look hair free, but mainly it feels so much nicer. Plus, I hate getting pubes in my mouth during sex, I don't want my partner/s to have to deal with the same issue...nothing worse during sex than getting a pube stuck halfway down your throat.......gag! - Posted from rhpmobile

The landing strip. I like a man with trimmed hair down there, completely bare doesnt look attractive to me, I like a man to have hair on his body, drives me wild.

I like the waxed feel. On her and me. The wife talked me into it and I wonder why I haven't done it sooner. - Posted from rhpmobile

as many above, I also prefer the way it looks and feels. I haven't waxed for awhile now due to 1) not being able to afford a professional wax, 2) the home waxing option being too difficult due to the stupidly high humidity here, and 3) laziness. Bought myself a trimmer and have been using that instead, was a bit wary at first since I usually get really itchy regrowth if I shave but it's been fine. Will start waxing again soon and as soon as I can afford it I'll probably do the laser thing.

From a blokes perspective, and of course my personal preference only - I have only had the one encounter with completely shaved pink bits on a woman and I can honestly say I didn't enjoy giving oral as much as I ordinarily would. I don't know why, I just didn't. I shaved my nether regions just to see what it was like years ago, it made me feel ridiculous and I was embarrassed to look at myself in the mirror. Thankfully it grew back rather quickly, which leads me on to another thing I remember about it - the itch as it grew back drove me insane. I would just constantly be scratching down yonder - or wanting to in the case of being at work. These days I keep things nicely cropped but not scratchy (I hope), above and shaved below.

In the early twentieth century, razor manufacturer Gillette were wondering how they could increase their sales. With fashions changing they realised that women were showing more "skin" , so they had a brilliant idea. They placed advertisements in the US newspapers targeting female underarm hair in 1917. The ad copy effectively makes women feel embarrassed and left out of the trend if they aren't already shaving their underarms. The razor "solves an embarrassing personal problem" and is "welcomed by women everywhere". Gillette used its product to create a problem and provide the solution -- a genius marketing strategy, if you ask me. So women shaving off personal hair came out of a marketing strategy based on total rubbish. Wow! The power of advertising hey?

If it's lasered or smooth it's fine. A lot of the time it's 5 o'clock shadow and ingrowny pimply at best, yuk. Trimmed and tidy is cool, I kind of miss pubes though. Fucking porn. - Posted from rhpmobile

I personally love seeing bush on a woman and hubby loves it too. it is sooo rare though. It's a fact that your vagina remains healthier with bush than without, as it help maintains correct pH/microbial balance. However, the pubes in teeth is not great, so some manicuring down there before play is a good idea. I've felt pressured to follow the hairless trend, but it doesn't last long and I let my bush grow for both me and hubby and keep things neat and tidy otherwise. A smooth vulva is rather lovely too, to touch and be touched. However, I really miss my big bush prior to this trend and it's never likely to grow back the way it was. Boo hoo :'(
