Why do people commit and then..

I've been trying to get some Gangbangs and Orgies happening a few times recently. Many people show interest and only a handful actually confirm on the day or two leading up to the event and only a few turning up, I'm offering a cheap ($20) event, to cover my costs on condoms and a nice spread of food, a respectful and safe event for all, and very erotic and horny play. Of the 3 attempted to organise, only 1 went ahead, I have a general question: why is it that so many people, over 40 profiles (singles and couples) show interest, but less than 5 get a hairs breadth away from confirming, but then don't confirm?🤷🏻‍♂️ Group Sex seems to be an interest of many, many people on here; are people just nervous? Or is it only my handful of validations? 1 or 2 of which are no longer active. Or something else? If anyone has any ideas on how to help encourage people to attend, I'll gladly take any advice.
