well if those are my only two options I suppose ghosted but really there are polite ways to say you aren't attracted , I'd prefer that if that were an option.

I like the idea of expanding the answer base to offer more choices, like PoisonIV has done with her preference, it would allow a question to grow and is part of the basis of many approaches geared towards improving communication to arrive at agreeable resolutions. In the vein that I am taking your OP Grouse... I'll take the unadorned truth and be done with it. Like PoisonIV though, I'd prefer an intermediate choice. Peachy :-D

Silence is an answer in itself..for whatever reason.Sometimes it's becomes obvious that the other person and I have zilch in common..and quite often it becomes clear that their political views are right of Attila the Hun:)..definitely a deal breaker for me. I don't really care if they haven't got a face pic,I find they can be quite deceptive .Q

A polite no, but to answer your question I'd prefer to be ghosted than insulted, I've known for some time I'm no oil painting, I don't need my nose rubbed in it. Although if it's such a good insult you make me laugh out loud, I'd forgive you. 🖕🏼

When I had said I didnt like beards and he opened a face pic....big beard. But he wasnt offended as Id already said I wasnt into bearded guys. Most of the time Ive been pretty surprised when Ive seen face pics or guys on cam as they've looked pretty good. I havent been insulted about my looks.....yet! Id rather hear a Thanks but not what Im looking for, than nothing at all. Funnily enough, a few guys Ive met have said "You look just like your pics". Im not sure what they were expecting? As mentioned in another forum post, people should have recent pics up, not ones from 15 years ago when you looked totally different. Theres no point? As Q pointed out, its a form of deception.

I totally avoid this issue by having face pics on display 😬 But I've copped so much abuse on this site about my body shape so I think I'd prefer to be ghosted rather than abused or insulted. ghe only time I hate ghosting is after we have already fucked. That is pretty low in my book.

I personally like to meet ppl. If they turned around and said not interested I would just politly tell them thanks. I would prefer to know where the meeting is going to lead to. For me the meeting is the end game. That's my goal for 2017. Meet as many find ppl as I can.. if something comes of it then great. I welcome good communication so wouldn't be bothered if somebody was outside my preferred age range. Also, I'd rather a polite no thanks than ghosting, although it seems a few women here have copped abuse when they've told guys they're not into them so maybe ghosting is the least worst option for them. - Posted from rhpmobile

Yes fair enough. My opinion and experience is that it doesn't matter how many boxes they tick, be it physical, stats, great profile, depending on the 'vibe' lol in those first few messages, sometimes after moving to the phone their true self emerges, it can go pear shaped right there and it's all over for me. I've been with enough hot guys, and that's not a brag, but I know from experience that it doesn't matter how turned on I am by the body, if they don't connect or aren't into me enough, it's terrible, I switch off. Many many contacts have stopped being contacts because of things said in messaging. Is that what you meant?

I've been chatting to a married woman here and it's now apparent I'm unlikely to hear from her again. It really doesn't make much difference whether she says "Piss off Noddy" or nothing at all, either way I get the message.
