YouTube What do you watch?🎬

March 21 2017

I have this weird fascination or obsession with watching plane crashes 😕 obviously incredibly tragic so not making light of that, quite the contrary, I feel so much sympathy for the families and struggle to imagine the horror for the people on the plane. Every single night, I watch at least 2 or 3 clips, only ever leaving those, to watch other similarly tragic disasters, 9/11, earthquakes, bridges collapsing or car crashes 😊 please no analysing I_touch, if I can't figure me out, I doubt you can 😀 Sooooooooo the burning question is, what do you watch? Do you find yourself watching a certain type of clip, be it comedy or celebrities who lose the plot 😀 but always drawn back to the same subject/genre. Oh and I forgot to mention, the 'go to' place when I'm trying to figure out how to work my action figures and toys, Buzz Light year manufacturers get some sick pleasure in making it almost impossible to remove the jet packs 😂😂😂

I have a number of channels I've subscribed to, and I'll usually just browse what's new. However this often turns into a rabbit hole and I end up in some interesting ends of the tube (same with Wikipedia). These are usually comedy, politics and music. And often end with compilation videos of people hurting themselves... I used to spend a lot of time searching short films (mostly SciFi and action) There are some amazing finds out there. - Posted from rhpmobile

I love DIY have learnt how to cut my own hair and fix heaps of things like the vacuum cleaner and the car. ❤ You Tube - Posted from rhpmobile

As YourPleasure mentioned if you subscribe to a few channels you can get lost for a few hours. We have ended up wTching YouTube on our TVs as we have found some pretty interesting stuff. Love a lot of how to channels as I like to make stuff as well. And yes the Buzz jet pack is screwed on.... Wait we are talking about buzz and woody right....

I watch heaps of animal rescue clips from all over the world. Sometimes I check the time and it's an hour gone by. They can be tragic and I can sit and cry but to see people from all over the world, from all walks of life feeling such empathy makes my heart lift. To see these poor creatures blossom and learn to give & receive love. There are so many cruel humans and poor nations and cultures that know no better, but for every one of them there is an amazing person to match them and one day the good guys will win the big war not just the small battles. - Posted from rhpmobile

Hehe! 😆😜 OK...Tuning in to YouTube, I often watch How to and DIY clips, funny / cute animal clips like Maru the cat, cooking clips, comedy stuff, MTV's and movie trailers. Sometimes, I'll watch interesting talks / discussions / documentaries.

Yes I forgot to say music. My latest favourite song is Mr. Beat by King Gizzard & the Lizard Wizard, love that name, and love the song. The two drummers are well known for keeping perfectly in time, so the song is kind of a numerous play on that, he missed a beat 'once' 😁 Peony, easy mistake 😉 that gets more of my time than YouTube does 😊 Your pleasure, what is it with those fail clips? They are quite often hilarious, I used to watch them a lot. I don't have TV so You Tube and porn are my little indulgence 😊

Yes absolutely I would, if I could afford it. I'm just sticking to plane spotting right now. I am fascinated with planes, they look so majestic, giant birds in the sky. I was driving tonight and a plane flew right over me, taking off, it looked incredible 😃

...looked up "How to do" videos before, like oil changes on a particular bike, or painting a house, and also product reviews on technical clothing before i buy. Lots of curiosities and funny stuff. And i love the Star Wars fan theory videos by the hardcore fans...ever wonder why Vaders suit was so clunky, or why he chose not to upgrade it..? I mean, who doesn't wonder that.. 😏

Satisfying videos - ones showing good design and beauty Ted talks To have something explained / mini lectures when I haven't understood a concept.

Has been uttered at How to's... after many rewinds trying to find out what part I did wrong. For the vast majority it's music though... The "4 Chord Song" by Axis of Awesome is a regular. Occasionally it's comedy shows that I don't see often enough (if at all on free to air/Netflix) such as Mock The Week.Tim Minchin's "Are You Ready For This" and Stephen Fry get a lot of airplay too. Cheers Rusty

I'm subscribed to a few sailing video channels, it's an interesting and small incestuous community. Also a few like Rotor Riot (drone flights). I tend to yotube for instructional things, or reference pictures when I'm fixing something. Currently also Hawaii videos, working out the right places to hike the stairway to heaven or some of the falls without getting ticketed. I once ended up going down the rabbit hole of "youtube vegan vloggers", it is THE weirdest bunch of nonsense you'll ever encounter, and they have INCREDIBLE numbers of followers, despite just dribbling shite or talking about nothing at all. And we can be 'proud' that a fair bit of it seems to be home grown Aussie.

I'm excited, I think, I've had lunch so all good for the pimple popping trying to connect with the respondents here but politics yourpleasure? Do I have to watch politics? alright, just this once, but the oil change is probably more exciting

Wait we are talking about buzz and woody right.... Buzz and Woody screwing around, just the norm around here but the thing is you see, they're not all screwed on, the jet packs that is. I've had just about every issue Buzz from when they first started making them in the 90's, through to the more recent ones. I currently have 6 to figure out and I can guarantee, they will all give me grief some of the jet packs you push up and off that way, but they're still all different, one was an absolute nightmare, it had to click on/off in a certain way, and if would break easily if done wrong. Good ol' youtube saved the day, I searched and searched and eventually found a clip for that particular model toy, and there were other people equally as grateful as me, who couldn't change the batteries for their kids lol another interesting thing the evil toy makers do is partly conceal an on/off switch on the back of some, so you test and think its not working, pout or proceed with repair but actually does work when switched on

Quoting 'SugarAndSpice91' Buzzfeed is my personal guilty pleasure lol I was addicted to the Jeremy clarkson show for a while though 😂 it is pretty much Maury povich and jerry springer mixed into a tragic mess! - Posted from rhpmobile love this guy and his co hosts on top gear. I don't watch tv, don't even own one, but just googled him and they fired him last year wtfMorons, that would have been a massive mistake, the guy is genius, he appeals because of his laid back, droll kind of nature, but combined with his dry humour, or self deprecating humour, with the result being an incredibly funny man, along with his co hosts who are the same. The funniest shows I saw back at the time were the ones where they went on those epic road trips in beat up old cars they bought for nothing, and the associated issues they had with the said cars, and delighting in the failings of the others. There was one where they had to make an all terrain car, to float, make it into a boat hahaha funny stuff

One of my grandsons as a toddler was right into Woody and Buzz Lightyear and while playing with his toy Buzz was often heard saying ........ "to obscenity and beyond!" Don't know where he picked up the saying but I reckon I'd enjoy going there!! Back on topic I have no particular theme for viewing YouTube clips but have often lost more time than I care to admit when I have gone to view something and get lead on and on and on to the next clip!!!! Oh and I actually feature in 3 clips that I know of, all posted without my knowledge????

Who wants to wear clothes when it's hot right? 😎 Now what was the topic again? 😁 I've been watching anorexia stories and Oprah Where are they now. Then happened across Dr Phil clips showing various troublesome guests, some who were escorted off stage, one alcoholic who turned up drunk for every filming, lots of troubled lives, some bizarre. The curious in me makes me want to watch and appreciate my relatively normal life 😉
