but I always struggle with posts where the OP writes from a moral high ground, stating what others should do and yet, their own profile leaves a lot to be desired Your rant is real but has been done to death and as much as its annoying, human nature dictates that people see themselves different from what you do and if their best was 10 years ago and again in their mind, they still see themselves like that now well so be it, you're not going to change their mindset. Do I agree with you ? Yes, but in the scheme of things most people will not see a change in hair colour, glasses or an additional 20 kgs as a huge change. No they honestly don't. To them its just life's progression And if those people purposely went out of their way to deceive you well perhaps you should have taken some responsibility and Skyped/Face time with them prior to your meets. I assuming that you have recently met someone and they didn't look as they had portrayed themselves to you I note that you have no profile pic, a template profile and ONE whole pic in your PG Yep that should differentiate you from all the 1000's and 1000's of men on here So OP I'll call it. IMHO, your post is one born out of frustration or anger but its a pity post and trolling.

since internet dating became a thing there have been people using outdated pics, and there will be for a long time yet. Just part and parcel, I personally dont understand why you would do that but plenty do.

where are your pictures. Strange question for you to be asking. At least they have pictures. You could be say, 300 kg, and have to be removed from the house with a crane, how would we know? That was a wild little scenario, not suggesting you are, but interesting that you would get so upset about old pictures when in my opinion, they have given some vision, better than none wouldn't you think. I currently have a topic going on this same thing so agree it's a common problem. But I get as frustrated and annoyed with no pictures as I do with fake or old ones. Sorry, but that's the truth. Whether it's popular or not, I don't care, I'm not going to sugar coat it

I'm with you Summer lol. I also look just as good now as I did 10 yrs ago, just with a little less hair😢. I personally wouldn't put an old photo up, but I don't care if they don't put any photos up at all either.

But you are by no means the only person. Anyway....Ive been pretty lucky when Ive met people but one of my male friends met a lady who used photos of one of her friends on her profile. He didnt even stay for a drink. He reckoned it was deceipt so what else was she lying about? One recent face pic whether its in your public or private gallery isnt that hard to produce.

Quoting 'Qefenta1' photo is clearly more than ten years old,it's very faded so it could be even older Q Just love it when people post 'old pics' , really old pics of themselves reflecting their youth in times gone by.... and all reflected in the fashion of the times gone by.. like puka shell necklaces worn by men, popular in the 70s and 80s and the dated furniture or equipment. Nothing retro if you look at the overall pic but just really old... Lol. Yep, I'm definitely fooled...

Personally, we try to fill out our profile as much as possible and are more interested in people who do the same. That goes for pics and information. We have only been in the lifestyle for 6 months. We took the time to take pictures at the start of the year to put on our profile to help attract interest. One of us then had some major tattoo work so we removed any pictures without it so that people were not thinking that we had posted really old shots even though they were recent. We have also worked really hard this year in becoming fitter so we continually update our pics to give an accurate representation of what we look like. Our face pics, which show our whole body in our private gallery are 5 weeks old, taken for Red Heaven's 6th birthday party. We like to put forward the best of us to attract the best of you.

Im at that age now (57) that if I put up old photos of me they wouldnt do me any justice at all as theyd all be in sepia. :p But having said that I can say in all honesty that I do look better now than what I did 10 years ago.

Well if we can get a movie star, why settle for a movie extra? You can put up stolen, old or unrealistic photos, but you'll still be the person you are. And may well be a stunned mullett when she meets you and keeps on walking by because you aren't reconisable......
