Timing is a baitch. 😯 We have delayed and delayed.....September was out because of AFL/Rugby finals, October because of the National m&g, November out due to Sydney fun times, December & January....yeah nah.... so that leaves poor Melb languishing. February & April dates as specified in my OP are really the only ones that work. Summer, we would love to see you in Melb, but understand the conflicts....Qld do put on a fine shindig 😊👍😉

I have a trip planned to Adelaide in February already ... and was planning on the Brisbane M&G too, but I'm not committed yet. I do so love Melbourne! Perhaps I need to start hitting up some of my Melbourne friends to see if I can organise a couch, as I know my budget isn't going to be able to stretch fully to cover 3 interstate trips in the space of two months!

In Feb, three weekends gone already :) My nephews wedding, my daughter's birthday and one of my special men has his birthday 🎂 In April, I can organise the partay house again (lol, I'll have to organise a select entry process) It will be sought after :) Mary xx

It's been over a year since I threw a gig and March is usually a good month for Brissy. I like to accomodate the Melbourne LWE that time of year so it's worth your while coming up for the weekend and having a day to recover before work Tuesday 😇 ~ but I'll go with the flow. Weather's good here year round. I was planning and have put the word out about 10-13 March. I'm flexible, I've had 'em in June and November before just like to space it out to give people a chance to save/plan and not miss out on any of them. I'd also like to say "thank you Ladies" it's good how we can discuss plans openly and work in together. Yes Annie I'm flexible....👹 But not like I used to be ~ Indy On Safari

About saints being in April ,what ifffffffff there was the official meet and greet in feb ,and an unofficial Meet and great before hand at the pub or somewhere before saints in April ,plenty to of warning for an early finish for work and early warm up to the main event on the night .would be a great way for first timers to meet people and make friends before going in , Mr b - Posted from rhpmobile

The opinions of some more of my fellow Melbournites? 😊 Come out lurkers, let us know your thoughts! For those who are relatively new to the site and not sure what a meet and greet is....well its a social event intended to give us all a chance of meeting alot of site members in one place. Lots of laughs, always a great time, and a fabulous way to meet people in a safe environment. We usually have it in a separate area of a pub which affords us some privacy.....BUT there is no sex at the event! Although you are of course welcome to organise your own meet ups pre or post event with some of your new friends In Melbourne we have had anywhere from 40 to 100 people at our M&Gs. There is a registration process involved, but that won't be available until 6 weeks prior to the event. This forum is just sounding out date preferences....which is so far leaning towards February. Feel free to post any questions you have and I shall get back to you as soon as I can. 😊

Thank you gorgeous for your support of all things meet and greet. 👌😊 For everyone else, this wonderful chick and I have been chatting behind the scenes.....once she had a copy of Melbourne's event/festival listing she could see what we were up against finding a free weekend early next year there was no issue with swapping dates around so interstaters could get to both if they wish. You rock O-S 💋

You're such an 😇 angel.!! I have been notified I have a work trip overseas in Feb 2017 for 3 weeks. Not sure what dates. If it's 11 Feb as you suggested, that may be doable. Yay!!!. Clapping 👏 like a circus 🎪 seal. I.will be back by end of march and may able to make April too. so excited to mix and chat with Rhp hoi polloi. time to crack those party 🎉 heels 👠 again. Lol 😁 Am away again late May 2017. Was soo hoping to go to Brisbane m&g too. I missed out last time as was on the road. 😔 Sigh. Never simple. Sigh. We did a M&G a while back the night after Saints. Good folk travel from everywhere to attend, is there any reason the M&G couldn't be on 8th April? If you're going to travel for a naughty weekend, why not make it super naughty?

I've had organising practice before with a singles meet, so I'm happy to do so (or help) with one of the general meet and greets if you like the idea of having both dates, and I'm familiar with the venues. ExtraSpice....yes you are correct in that there was a m&g the night after a Saints&Sinners ball, that was in 2014......I was one of one of the organisers. I had a different user name back then. (gawd..... I am a sucker for punishment, here I am doing another m&g!). Folks, I can't organise the April one, and if the date quoted by ExtraSpice is correct I won't even be in the state! So if someone wants to assist Country Touch organise it, or is comfortable doing it themselves, please get in touch. We have plenty of folk already in place for organising February, thanks for your kind offers though 💋

Paid 25 dollars each and the 3 of us stayed 15 minutes and bailed. Disgraceful.

A clash with the drinks night would be like having the choice between attending the Melbourne cup or a turtle race at Broken Hill. The other seems more catered to AMM so l think this one would sink them in our bow wave. Different vibes? Wasnt one when we were there. Worse $25 spend ive had for a while. Struth you lot are pushing your luck! 😉😂 This chick has to get through the end of the 2016 before I can get near this planning conundrum ...and a shout out to my CEO for packing in three major meetings and a full business review before I go on leave next week. 😣 We have two favorite venues, and are hoping to use one of them again. They are both located a skip away from Crown, one on either side of the river...... So anywhere in that region would be stumbling distance away.
