basically, lack of imagination and a sense of irony For those who don't know Virgil is a character from Inferno part of the Divine Comedy written by Dante Aligheiri around the year 1300... oh dear god i sound like my old school teachers..... ok back to the real topic. Basically i had just finished reading dante's inferno and a re-write of it so it was stuck in my head, and at that point i had, (and still have) no idea what im looking for other than a good time, and as Virgil was dantes guide i thought it rather ironic. P.S. if you google dante inferno there is a rather amusing quiz on there that tells you what level of hell you are going to.. just if u r interested

mine comes from old MSN chat before it shut down , and "Lok" is short for my real first name , and "simpson" for my mums maiden name , if memory serves me right , i tried LOK15 , reads loki's , is whats on my car , but dont think it was long enough , so my old msn name came to the rescue! Lots of cool original names here , i think my email address beats them all tho lol. but i cant say it here ( the lady at optus said " are you for real? they actually allowed this??? " ) hehehehe , i just laughed at her , and said its legit..

I have forgotten a lot of things in my short life (esp with how many and most of whom I've slept with). Originally it was a name I wanted to use so no one could recognise me on another forum and on here, but then I figured out I shouldn't be shy of who I am, which is my face is out there for all to see. Senility can also be somewhat peaceful.

I change my names whenever something significant changes in my life, and I enjoy having aesthetics meet practicality halfway in my pseudonyms, as they're always something that identifies who I am at the time. At the moment, I'm working long hours and not doing much else because I'm saving to spend a few months in America soon. I drive for a patrol company, and my callsign on the radio is 030, pronounced Zero Thirty... A Boeing 727-030 is also likely to be what I fly over to the states on... :D

Venus was already Venus when we met and had been for a long time. On our first night out, after mutual perving over a pool table then wining and dining I then took Venus to see my favorite blues band and they have a song with some lyrics about Venus and Mars. I had a boring singles nick so together we put up a couples profile. Venus and Mars has a nice ring to it. On here we use Mars_n_Venus and sometimes its reversed. Hmmm. Well the short answer is I like the song. and someone already had plain vertigo so I added my old race number on the end. Also like the romantic notion of the word. Hi All My parents have always considered me to be quiet and I sometimes (unintentionally) "appear" next to people, doing whatever I'm doing, and they get a shock when they realise I'm there. They started calling me "phantom" and it stuck. When I was in Year 12 (1999), I had PHANTOM on the back of my Leavers rugby jersey... no-one actually picked up on the relevance it had to me... For anyone who's kids have brought home a school report containing the words "he could do better" - (or who has read Bill Cosby's book Fatherhood), you'll understand. Well - that's me. Nobody's ever complained about the attractiveness of my face, and I have great bone & muscle structure, but due to lack of endeavour and a love of fine food, my six-pack is a teeny bit lacking in tone (read non-existant), and if I was a pre-pubescent girl then I'd have my training bra by now. Anyway, it might limit my profile hits, but I'd rather be up-front and avoid disappointment later.

Like all nicknames mine has a story behind it, 10 years ago I was visiting a friend who owned a kiosk near the bus station. While there an atractive female walked by and as she passed me I developed a boner over her. Another one of my freinds noticed this and to try to embarrass me at the time said to me you got a donger over that girl. For the rest of the day they started calling me donger boy. He then told everyone to call me dongerboy but I said I ain't no boy so it was shortened to Donger. I did not like the spelling hence Donga and my age at the time of joining RHP 27

Found this thread to be a most interesting read so thought I better throw my two cent's worth in the ring..... My nickname is actually the result of a dare..... While being head doorman of a Northbridge niteclub last year, my response to a rather large gentleman who tried to punch me during a difficult removal was to open-hand (backhand and forehand) slap him 30 metres along the footpath....calling him a "f*&%ing muppet" as I went..... (Slapping is far less damaging on my knuckles and the cops tend to go easier on you coz they do the exact same thing.) Anyhow, my 2IC knew I'm on RHP and inquired what my nickname at the time was. When I told him, he, along with the bar-staff, dared me to change it to Muppet_Slapper. The rest, as they say, is history.... M_S
