Just the most awesome of creatures. Grew up with goats as my mates and honestly I have never had better animal friends. Damn they are such a crack up, completely loyal and affectionate as. Top of my list for my next furry friend is a pygmy goat so bloody cute. I had one when I was seven but the old man sold her a few years later against our wishes. Oh and goat (chevon) is sensational tasting meat (sorry non-meaters), not that I ever ate many of our goat as they were mostly for fleece and milk.

I caught most of the Bryant piece. Wonder why it took them so long to release that footage to the public. Very eerie to watch him talk and his body language. I had a friend who was killed in the seige, he pushed his wife to the ground and lay on her, he was shot but she survived. Theres still a lot of people that believe he wasnt alone in this. People that were there on the day. A lot of conspiracy theories floating around. Like he was hypnotised and programed to do it. It certainly seemed in the interview that he had no idea and thought it was all a joke. Very dissasociated. But we will never know.

Watching him in that interview. Willow that's horrible I'm so sorry. What a courageous and selfless man. These days we have cctv and smart phones to capture what's going on in these events. We are getting immune to mass shootings with everything that's going on in the world now - but this one was something no one will ever forget.

Just heard on the radio the sad passing of Jon English - aged just 66 years old, and just a few weeks short of his next birthday. Apparently died from complications during surgery, but I have no other details at this early stage. I went to school with Jon, and followed how he went through with his career after he left 6th form in high school. Unfortunately as he gained in popularity he moved homes several times, so couldn't keep up with him. However, I know from his time at school he was a genuinely nice guy, and I believe he stayed true to form. RIP Jon - a great guy and performer. Tall

Best news in ages for me.... just sharing After working so hard for years for some academic recognition, my youngest son has been accorded the Science Leadership and the Mathematics Leadership awards at his college early this week. A wonderful feat for a 15yo young man who is now seeing dividends for all the extra work he puts in and proactive attitude he has taken, a 180 degree attitude change from 3 years ago when he was a shy boy. Best thing we have done is enrolled him in sports and karate 5 years ago and he is now going for his black belt. I take him to the gym with me and work out with him 2x a week. Building strength and muscles made a difference in his confidence. Even though he has grown to be nearly 6 feet tall, handsome like hell (half-French, half Asian - imagine a young Enrique Iglesias) and girls are now noticing him, he never really paid too much attention to girls, preferring sports, making documentaries and movies with his mates, political marches and computer games. He was approached several times while we were overseas last year to take up modelling and acting (in Singapore and Philippines) but he was too shy and self-conscious about his braces. He prefers to be a writing movies scripts or directing a movie or documentary when he grows up. But it did build his confidence that he is an attractive boy and has become more self-aware and fashion conscious of late. After a 6-7 months of trying to look for a job, we worked to refine his resume, practised his interview techniques and approached local businesses with his resume for a part time job, walking from door to door personally handing in his cv. We got him to volunteer at a local Opp shop earlier this year to stack shelves and help around the shop for a couple of hours a week, after school and Saturdays. Get some people skills for future jobs, we told him. Despite looking 18-19yo. he was knocked back due to his age. It started ebbing his confidence in looking for a paying job and being financially independent. My ex and I egged him on not to give up and keep submitting his resumes online and continue asking for an interview. Finally, he got a job offer at a big retail chain store today and had glowing feedback that the interview he had was one of the best interview the store manager had in ages from a confident cheerful enthusiatic smart young man. I couldnt be more proud of my boys.... The sort of people that would do well in life yet still give back to the community. I am soo blessed. Just sharing....... thanks for reading.....

I am now more aware of what food I should and shouldn't eat, what exercises are good for me, and what outcomes/consequences I would get for the choices of food and beverage that I consume.
