Without being too critical with such small amounts of info... The BIGGEST thing to remember is that while you’re no longer together, you MUST remain united in parenthood.... Consistency and integrity...oh and yelling around the kids is not a good idea as they never see the words but the deliverance....that conditions them to deal with their frustrations in a negative way... That’s all I got at the minute... Chin up buddy, time to show the kids that you’re still a shining star in their lives ... - Posted from rhpmobile

Now that the decision to split has been reached, put the bitterness and conflict behind. My best advice is to work on becoming mates. An ex can make the best bestie and have each others back. Might sound odd and outside the square but I recommend it. Good luck.

Wasn’t trolling, perhaps it was, but the insertion of the word “white” was completely unnecessary. I’d come to the aid of any one. I’ve noticed we all bleed the colour red

Morning all. My first post on this thread to. May I order a big mug of latte, 2 sugars pls Foxxy. :) NZSoulman, hang in there mate, life will be all good again. Ride the bumps and learn to accept the issues you cannot control. Stay amicable with your ex for the sake of your kids, as Anniewhichway stated, an ex can make the best bestie, it’s very true. You’re not together now, so don’t lay your problems at her feet but do, parent together, respect each other and as time passes you will find it’s beneficial to you both. If possible try and work any settlement agreements out of court, the only people that win in that instance are the lawyers. Pay any child support with pride and meet any other obligations you have without any grudges, turn the negative into a positive so you can stand tall and proud that you handle yourself with decorum. It’s a great chance for some big personal growth. Focus on yourself to be happy, your happiness will spread to your children, remain a solid influence for them and also don’t be afraid to let your kids see you are human. Be open with them, and honest. Definitely do not make them feel that they are luggage, they will need your, and your exes love and support equally. Wish you the best of luck, you will have tough times but as you have done on this thread, reach out to others when you need, never be ashamed to ask for help. Sometimes humanity can be beautiful and surprising when you least expect it. Cheers.

After the rape and murder of Eurydice, it has emerged today that a woman was kidnapped by 2 men while she was with her girlfriend in Lygon St and sexually assaulted in the early hours of Sunday morning in the same suburb that Eurydice murder took place This time, words fail me

The word white was completely necessary, and that was my whole point. sure, it is human nature to sit up and take notice when something is close to home or within your culture. I do that too of course. But I just feel that these terrible atrocities are happening in other communities throughout Australia and there is nothing really done about it. That saddens me. If you want to automatically call anyone that voices a controversial opinion a troll, that is your prerogative. Like water off a duck’s bollocks. :) 💧

We remembered not just Eurydice but all victims of violent crime, male, female and children . I’ve written this twice in previous posts and have cried out loud on my own social media platform And yes the terrible rape of a 11 year old in Newcastle is beyond disgusting, sickening, I could not agree more with you and now another woman raped in Carlton only 4 days ago frustrates and frightens me as I live in the next suburb and Lygon St is a regular haunt However there was no vigil for the little one as she is alive but god only knows what the future holds for her and I don’t live in Newcastle I’m concentrating on what I can do here in Melbourne but my care and concern does not mean it does not extend beyond a state border and it certainly goes out to all people who are victims of violence particularly those who are victims of DV I hope that you are being proactive in your concerns in real life away from here and not just making random comments on a forum but it’s none my business if you are or not. But I hope you are not one of those people that bleet and then do nothing. Before you ask if I am in real life I, yes I am and my friends on here can attest to that On a personal note I used to be an admirer of yours when you were a more of a regular poster and I, a lurker , you called it as you saw it and sometimes in a very clever and witty manner but trolling appears to be your go to now. That’s such a waste Let’s move on

it is funny... I have had Harleys since 1981.. and it amuses me when I go places.. - some dickhead will say something stupid like, "Hey Man! Harleys are the best eh!!" My usual response is - "Fuck off! they are over priced, under performing SLUGS" I STILL believe they are - EVEN with my latest 2014 Glide..Fact is, I had my 1984 glide and my 2014 glide both together.. and they didn't look much different 30 years apart..In Fact... I preferred to ride the old shovel, and did more kilometres on it in the 18 months I had them both, then I did on the new bike. BUT.. it is MY fucking slug, and I love to ride it: I love it's feel: and I love having it between my legs.. (And, the first thing I did when I got it home from the shop was to remove the rear seat and pegs... I am NOT sharing my Slug - well.. not THAT one anyway.. MY other Slug is free for the taking)

It is amazing that 30-odd years later they're still making new owners pay for the R&D. But, I do kinda understand. I have an old-ish Buell XB9S myself( from 03 )...and it's all about the noise and feel of that ancient tractor engine, thumping away."American Iron" really is something else. Not at all like the feel and build of what Europe and Japan make. On the subject of motorbikes....this old race fascinates me from time to time. That despite its scary death toll...and low prize money, too...competitors come back year after year, and the new ones are in no short supply. It's not like Formula One, where winners, runners up and even further back earn millions just for showing up....there's no great prize to justify the great risk here. This year 2 racers were killed at the IOM TT, last year it was 3...and the year before it was 5 competitors killed in the race! The average in its more-than-a-century of existence is something like 2-3 racers a year killed. And sometimes the spectators are killed too by crashing bikes and riders! Knowing all this, it's amazing that people choose to race it. Imagine. There's 100-150 competitors( I'm taking a guess, here ) taking part over the week of racing...and they all know that statistically, at least 2 or 3 of them are going to die before the weeks end. It sounds like a really "WHAT THE FUCK.." kind of thing to get your head around...just for a race. I'd love to see it one day. I suppose it'd be more appropriate to say, I'd be honoured to see it. That death toll, over something purely recreational, says something about the spirit of those people. And defines a huge difference between them and me.

I'm not disputing that the patriarchy is real. My argument is that the privilege is not evenly spread across all men, it is clustered on a subset of men. Positive discrimination designed to correct this statistical inequality for women is a broad brush approach that often places the burden of restitution unfairly on those who are not benefiting from the injustice. Taken to it's logical conclusion positive discrimination leads to the creation of 3 privilege classes; disadvantaged men < women < advantaged men. This is pointing to another, more pronounced, inequality present in our society - economic inequality. Now before you remind me about how huge your tax bill is, I am not talking about you. An obscenely large tax bill is an indication of the problem, not an argument against it. That is the hurdle when bringing this inequality up; 30% of the population thinks you're talking about them, another 60% thinks you're talking about what they're aspiring to be (and working very hard towards it). I am not a communist, I am not advocating against people working towards improving their lifestyles. I am actually arguing for this and I am very much in support of all people (men, women, trans, black, white, purple) being given equal opportunity to do so. In Australia the top 1% own more wealth than bottom 70% combined. Most of that top 1% is inter-generational wealth and confers great privilege, orders of magnitude different to any gender inequality. If acquiring privilege by virtue of being born a male is unfair, how is it any different to acquire it by being born into an incredibly privileged family? The solution I suggest is a change in taxation. It is inefficient and unfair to tax income and capital. Why should we be penalised and disincentivised for working? Work is what creates the society that we have. And capital investment is what creates the jobs in the first place, why is that taxed? Instead we should tax consumption and resource allocation, we should tax those that reap the benefits of the society we create in proportion to the benefits they are acquiring. I also suggest a sliding scale inheritance tax. I am not against wanting to provide your children or grandchildren a boost in life. Accumulating so much wealth that your grandchildren's children need never work a day in their lives is illogical. Money for these people is an abstraction, points scored in a game and it's all played on the backs of working people who are compelled to sell a great proportion of their lives just to exist. There are real gender inequalities in our society and it's great that we discuss ways to improve them, so much progress has been made in the last 150 years by doing so and it's a testament to western civilisation which has lead the way. I fear however that here is an undercurrent in fourth wave feminism that seeks to keep us battling with each other while we ignore and accept much greater injustices. There is an insidious trace of the age old divide and conquer strategy that has served the power elite for centuries. "If you know yourself but not thy enemy, for every victory gained you will also suffer a defeat" - Sun Tzu

What cant you get your head around? The fact that you "liked" my post does nothing for your credibility when you choose to afterwards, pick it apart. It does enhance your position as a troll but we were already up to speed on that...... A reasonable level of reading comprehension skill would have you see that I was calling out the conspicuous lack of reaction from the virtue signalling set around these parts. It's like there's a different set of standards applied to that in-group and that was my point. I loved your post Annie, I originally thought it was a deliberately offensive or provocative online post with the aim of upsetting someone or eliciting an angry response from them. This is the very definition of online trolling and so of course I would like such a post. But then you provided me with a totally believable explanation that wasn't at all a laughably obvious attempt to weasel out of a troll post by someone who lacks the courage of their convictions too either standby what they said or admit that it was wrong and apologise (as I have for my own previously self admitted trolling btw). So after you cleared that up as you did I simply thanked you for enlightening me on that matter. You are definitely one to lecture me on credibility.

Yes, the red and white is for the cane. The World Federation of Deafblind is trying to get a red and white striped cane as a universal symbol. In Australia, the bottom half of the cane is red. It's Helen Keller's birthday on the 27th which is why deafblind awareness week is always last week of June.

when the last time was that someone ate anything I cooked... I have a fav. dish called "Wild-stuff stew"which, one cam imagine is made from wild stuff.. wild stuff from my property.. from the land.. from my pantry... from my freezer and the mouldy stuff in my fridge... I recently found a jar with 2kg of very old roo and donkey jerky..Best I can guess, from when I last ate donkey was, the jerky was at least 14 years old.. THAT got rehydrated in a slow cooker. and no matter what I added, tasted like fucking dogs balls.. The one animal I will not put in "wild-stuff stew" is technically NOT wild.... SO the dish with it in is called "Catterole".. *shrugs*

My home made soups are the only thing which has kept me going the last 2 months. With no set recipe, its a matter of throwing vegies into chicken stock, a pinch of herbs, a pinchette of dried chilli , cook & blitz. But it has to be a minimum of 5 different vegies, such as potato, sweet potato, carrot, zucchini, cauliflower celery, broccoli stem, leek etc. A big bowl of delicious thick soup, and a couple of mandarins a day and I have dodged every cold, snuffle and flu - which is a bloody miracle considering how rundown I am.

I've been doing a lot of home cooking this week...largely because I've had bit of time off work.Seeing as it's my job, anyway, it was a good opportunity to stock up the freezer with preprepared food. For when I'm feeling lazy. I've come across these really tasty sweet potatoes lately...purple skin, but a pure white flesh...a bit pricey at $6 a kilo, but worth it. I also peeled and roasted beetroot with them. Love roast beetroot...it's so underrated. But vege's aren't enough....I like my meat more. So, I got some chunky beef ribs, deboned them, then rubbed with lots of smokey paprika, brown sugar and salt. Roast on high, slice and good to go. So good..!

I sometimes make my own, sometimes use some I buy from an awesome little local shop who caters for the time poor mob - which is an apt description of me 😁 . You could always make it just with vegies and water - because that is essentially going to turn it into vegie stock. I've done that before but find it lacks depth in the flavour. I don't think your posting style has changed these last few months, still direct, and nobody said anything when you outed your details several months ago but apparently when all attempts to be friendly with you fail, and you step out of line on a topic supported by the matriarchy, you become a problem. Speaking as someone who is gobacked at the sheer number of threads specifically aimed at single men in the last few weeks, where the author has little to say except to keep the focus on single men. I wonder. Because... If the same behaviour was practiced by men, they'd be torn to shreds. I'd prefer not to hear back except on the particular points made. I'm not being personal but focusing on behaviour not people. Same as usual... 🍑

Bbqd chicken from the supermarket. Either when you have picked the meat of over a few days or specifically strip it, chuck the carcass in a pressure cooker with bones and skin, onions. Add water to cover and blast it for 30 minutes whilst you rub one out in the bedroom. Drain into pot through colander and good to go for soup base or rissotto

I wanted you to know I came across an article about the Shark Talk during the week. It made my blood boil and I know it would have your's too. The comments made gave me a good sense of where you're coming from but I want you to know that I do not mean to victim blame (though I can imagine how it looks that way at times) but do get pissed off when women are put in a box where they're treated like they're useless (inferior). I know we're not because I'm proof of the pudding in my world. I believe in us. I do hope you are doing well, I couldn't imagine taking the journey you are, Peachy On tonight’s episode of Shark Tank, Steve Baxter said something that was so out-of-touch one of his fellow sharks called him a “sexist pig”..Tanya Wood, Founder and Owner of Sunburst Outdoor Living, had just pitched her business to the panel when Steve had a very Steve-esque outburst..Wood, 44, was asking for a $40,000 investment from the sharks for 20 per cent stake in the business. Most importantly, she wanted the sharks’ help and guidance approaching retailers to sell her products..“Do you think we’re going to do that for you? Well, why don’t you do it then?” Baxter asks..“I know, it sounds easy. I know what you’re saying…” Wood begins, before the seasoned entrepreneur cuts her off..“You know what I’d do? I’d look up their address, I’d give them a call. That’s the reality… be prepared to do that in business. That’s your job. You’re not filling me with confidence at all here, right?”.A startled Wood apologises, explaining to the panel that she’s very nervous..“You’re sort of saying, ‘I’ve tried and I can’t.’ You’ve got to not take no for an answer. It’s unfortunate, but females tend to do it that way. Why do you think there’s a female pay gap? Because you don’t come across as assertive enough,” Baxter continues, before a fellow shark interrupts him..“Because of a whole bunch of sexist pigs like you,” Dr Glen Richards tells him..“You have three daughters… change the world.”.Undeterred, Baxter continues on his tirade..“I’m not saying it’s fair, but it’s a fact,” he says..“You need to show more aggression — especially for a female.”.Finally Wood bites back..“You’re wrong, Steve. I am not timid, I am just very scared at the moment. This has been my life, my passion, my dreams for four years, and I’m here now. I will be on the phones for 10 hours a day if that’s what it takes, because I’m going to make this happen with or without you guys,” Wood tells him..“I’ve worked my butt off for three years, and I have a child. So I’m trying to juggle everything..“I know this is going to work because the numbers add up.”.At the end of the segment, Naomi Simson offered Wood $40,000 for a 30 per cent stake in the business..“I just want it,” Wood said before hugging Simson and thanking her for the offer.

I’m confused tbh? I’ve not stated anything personal about myself really so not sure what your talking about there. I’m not worried about Mum. :p And I don’t think I’ve ever really slammed single men have I? I’m probably missing your point? As for cooking. Lucky my BF does all the cooking. :))

Quoting 'AnnieWhichway' Bbqd chicken from the supermarket. Either when you have picked the meat of over a few days or specifically strip it, chuck the carcass in a pressure cooker with bones and skin, onions. Add water to cover and blast it for 30 minutes whilst you rub one out in the bedroom. Drain into pot through colander and good to go for soup base or rissotto That's it...... No more Massal cubes or Campbells liquid stock for me :)Great new profile pic Annie

My post wasn't about a 'single man' Annie. That I know of... Or about knocking a man either but sharing an example of how I recognise women can be so easily dismissed by men (at times) that they're not confident enough or whatever. You might have noticed it was a man that called him a sexist pig? I almost mentioned he was the only one that said anything but did notice it was the woman shark that took up the 'deal'. Wise woman, hey, Peachy

I agree totally with your comment about him. I saw the program. So you had a valid point. Just as perhaps the women posting against "single men" had a valid point. But you see it that they are single men and there out of bounds. As l see if a person has done something they should be held accountable for the action whether they are man, woman, married, single. You cant pick and choose based on gender/status within your eyes.

I purchased a Philips Viva Collection All-in-One Cooker. Best thing since sliced bread. I call it "Rosie" cause she does everything like Rosie from the Jetsons. Last week I made pea and ham soup (in Rosie), made the stock from pigs Trotters (similar to Annies recipe above). I get my hocks (cured meats etc) from this amazing international delicatessen small goods store (Carol Park). As soon as you walk in, the smell of the cured meats is incredible! The cheeses are divine. The liverwurst is to die for. Brissys best kept secret to get hocks for winter soups. :) Ms Foxy

Lucky my BF does all the cooking. :)) Yah, it was you who pointed out the accuracy of some of the details on your profile as being aspirational. But Haha, sorry for the confusion of my follow on comments, they weren't meant for you at all. I've been having a giggle at how often you and I end up on the same side of an issue for a while now. I'm thinking the cooking comment has nothing to do with me? I'd say I'm the soux chef here at home? Lots of thoughts thrown back and forth... We work together and today had the pleasure of the best soup like grandma's (so we were told) that we've ever attempted. The main ingredient in common with grandma was the silver-side stock. A thought for people in this colder weather. We're failures at chicken stock that we've been happy with, thanks for the tips Annie. Peachy

I dont make soup at home very often...and when I do, it's winter, and I like them thick and hearty. Warming. I know that's a bit silly. It's all warm.. I've saved up some prawn shells in the freezer...from back in summer when i had a craving for fresh prawns. Glad i have some foresight when it comes to my stomach. 🙄 When i can be bothered, they'll be for prawn bisque again. I only make it because i just dont know of anywhere that it can be bought takeaway. It's rich, tomatoey, prawny, creamy...best with buttered, crusty french stick.

Google that shit. Probably the worst fish you could eat. It’s imported, it grows in rivers that you wouldn’t swim in. It most likely glows in the dark. I really hope AntiChrist was taking the piss on that!! If not I hope to improve his impression of piscean delicacys. I cannot go past a feed of Vic gummy shark, sold in reputable fish and chip shops as flake, but I stress reputable as most sell qld reef shark, nz hake or other inferior fish(compared to true Vic gummy shark). Flathead is another underrated fish, egg and breadcrumb the fillets of those things and you’ll be fighting over the last bits. Duck fish, check it out, it’s real, delicate sweet flesh, touch of dill and lemon pepper turns it on. Southern rock lobster or crayfish. Just delicious, toe to toe, claw to claw as good or better than mudcrabs, prawns or any other crustacean. Just can’t fry the heads on the bbq like you can with prawns to make tasty critter chips. Speaking of bbq, has anyone tried bbq’d Dim Sims? Cut them buggers in half while frozen and cook them on the bbq, good filler while i ready the fresh fish, crayfish, calamari and if I’ve been swimming, some abalone. That’s in southern waters, maybe next chapter I’ll include my favorite northern fish. I’ve caught and cooked them to. But as I tend to waffle. I’ll stop now! 🤪 - Posted from rhpmobile
